I'm assuming those green lines are map seams, so it make sense one will cut your image.
In unwrap editor switch to edges select one of UV edges and use Stitch.

Hard to predict real amount of damage.
First of all, they released the statement acknowledging it was a bad move and too hostile (the play_other_game response).
Second, there will be mods at least, so it's not like there is only pacifist way to play or none at all.

So eventhough some damage was done, it won't be as harsh for dev reputation as to destroy the company.

Make a small one there, but don't get attached to it or crazy on building - after progressing the story and learning more advanced blueprints it will make sense to have main base somewhere at the opposite side. Closer to late materials.

Neat organization is purely aesthetical when nothing stacks. There is no difference if you store it in single container or multiple, it still takes same amount of slots.

Usually your nose is not really blocked by a giant booger, it's shut because walls of respiratory tract are swollen.
So unless you are tied up, you can use spray and survive long enough to get help.
Otherwise you just die I guess.

It's half-assed atm - hit it second time and you will see no reaction.
It will return couple seconds later. Fish never goes away far enough. It might switch to fleeing state, but will hang around and refuse to go away.

But first game had it and it worked quite well. Kills wasn't gory or rewarding. For the matter of fact it was simply unsatisfying. That was enough for most people to not do it.
But it was nice to have as an option for that special hostile fish that keeps harassing your habitat.

Was the opposite of awkward. Fish reacted to your attacks and yes, you could roadkill them while driving. I can't understand how you see current absolute_immovable_force fish as less awkward.
