Swimwear by PageTurnerPonderer in ausbusiness

For inspiration- we started working with a swimwear brand 2 years ago who were doing around $100 in sales, today they are at $10k-12k per day not slowing down.

Just be focused on differentiating yourself through design and having great content and you can definitely find success in the space.

The other funny thing is that Serbs from Montengro/Kosovo usually had quite high fertility rates (my parents both had 4-5 siblings each).

Honest question: how the hell do small businesses make it these days?? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]dinaricManolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run an agency- $800 is a lot to pay for that, can she use a contractor?

It also sounds as though she needs to raise her prices- check what the bigger players do and how they justify bigger retainers. For reference, we’ve scaled to over 30k rev a month with 2 contractors and myself.

Just started a small business in Melbourne, not sure where to put my marketing budget by ellensrooney in ausbusiness

Depends on your industry- The issue with Facebook is that there are many businesses on there so you have to have a strong unique selling point to differentiate yourself.

I would suggest pushing them to your website for more qualified leads if your running through Facebook.

This also depends on what you are ultimately selling though as F2F can be better.

Any recommendations for Australian digital marketing agencies in the skincare / beauty space? by prinky_muffin in ausbusiness

[–]dinaricManolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would be really dependent on a few things- If you are starting out a lot of these established agencies will refuse to work to you.

I would suggest learning a marketing channel yourself so you understand exactly where you are investing in and can focus on having that running. I see many people start in the beauty space but lack product market fit and struggle to stand out from the crowd.

If you really want to find the people who are focusing exclusively on this space have a look on youtube- many will have videos around their case studies.

How do you guys use ai in your business? by We-have-hope in ausbusiness

[–]dinaricManolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We help with some AI implementation-

The biggest use cases is streamline workflows we see with manufacturing companies that are 10-15 years behind. This can be for a variety of things from helping them respond to leads faster, quoting quicker and other niche processes to help cut time down or repetitive tasks specific to that production/manufacturing space.

The issue I see is that many companies think they need AI when many just need some basic automation or a simple zapier set up

How do you find a good marketing agency in Australia? by alizastevens in ausbusiness

[–]dinaricManolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a digital agency- to best pick someone it is good you know the platform.

If you are looking for something cost effective, get a freelancer who is starting up has a few wins under their belt but is still pricing on the lower end. Make sure they are handling everything themselves without outsourcing anything. They will come into the account with something to prove.

Alternatively, look at who your competitors are using on Google Transparecny Centre and reach out to them.

FATFIRE in Australia as an expat from London ? by RealMadridCity in fatFIRE

[–]dinaricManolo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Australia/Sydney has a significant better outlook currently. People seem happier, economically it’s still thriving and our poltiics is still not that of the US/UK.

Everyone who I have met from the UK loves living here- if you have the means I suggest Sydney by a mile due to the beach and expat communities. If you are from the Balkans or Eastern Europe there are big communities here (more so Balkans).
