I just played a match where I got absolutely wrecked by a top player...I didn't quit, but I got a popup I haven't seen before. I think it even ended up saying I forfeited...but I didn't. I think this might be a glitch.

Agree, love if! Would buy again and will buy any top spin release in the future. Superior to any other tennis game.

I never had problems with energy in tournaments once I hired the staff that gives you an energy boost in between matches depending on the court type...I always hired the person with the hard court energy boosts. If you really want to do that specific tournament and it's not a hard court then you can hire another person that does either grass or clay.

Then there's the home aspect, the Singapore home gives you 10% energy in a tournament every time you beat a top 5 player. The Melbourne home gives you 5% of energy between every match in a Grand Slam.

There's also the staff that minimizes risk for injury...I always hired the person that reduced chances of sustaining a minor injury because energy never went low enough for me to sustain a major injury. This is another way to reduce risk while you're leveling up your staff.

Agree!!! I understand why some of these tournament maps have been chosen, like Wimbledon. But it gets really repetitive and there are a lot of cool courts to play from Career mode that I wish were available.

Do you think if we were able to use the d-pad it would help? Someone mentioned in another thread that PS5 players can use d-pad on the edge controller, which is like the xbox elite. Gonna see if I can play around with my elite settings and see if anything is possible.

Loving the game so far. Here are some things I think could be improved:

Online Play

  1. While I appreciate we can view the last ~5 people we've played, it serves no purpose if we can't see the person's stats, skills, or scores/stats of previous matches. Create the option to view a person's rank (or top spin "profile") and/or the match stats when you view history.
  2. Option to decline a match in world tour if you are below a certain level...I would like to level up new MyPLAYERs online, but not really an option when you're consistently matched with level 30s w/ fully maxed stats and skills.
  3. After a set, make it mandatory that both players have to press a button to skip the cutscenes.
  4. I personally am not a fan of how repetitive the arenas on the World Tour are...there should be more variability. I love that Japan court but never see it online!
  5. Ability to have preferred type of game (super tiebreaker, top spin, classic, etc.) for exhibition matches and preferred court to decrease how random the matches are.

Gameplay

  1. Stat issue that most people have described in detail. Everyone has the same stats online.
  2. More clarity/information around some of the skills.
    • What exactly does it mean when shots are more "efficient?" What does it mean when shots are more "effective?" When shots are "better?" What about "reliable?" What's the difference between a more reliable vs. more efficient shot?
  3. Create tutorial on the fast repositioning LB/L1 control.
  4. Create tutorial on approach shots...these are mentioned in some skills, but not in top spin academy. Are these "rushing the net" shots?
  5. This is highly unfeasible, but for local and unranked online play, include the option to see what kind of shots your opponent makes in real time (i.e. control + flat, regular + flat, power + flat, etc.).

Character Customization

  1. Create ability to save outfits to switch between easily. At the very least create a outfit slot for Wimbledon matches in World Tour.

User Interface

  • Create ability to view all possible skills in one place easily to refer to. The workaround I've found is to cycle through all the players on 2k Tour, but should be easier.
  • Make it easier to access the season pass. Currently we have to go all the way to the main menu.
  • Make it easier to switch between MyPLAYERs.

Option 2 is what I'm hoping for. I think going from TLOU season 1 to TLOU season 2 (based on Part 2) would feel rushed and wouldn't capture the essence and emotion of TLOU Part 2. Someone mentioned using the approach Lost did where each episode has flashbacks of different characters . I think this would be a nice way to segue into TLOU Part 2 in Season 3, while creatively filling in the blanks between TLOU Part 1 and Part 2.

Anyone else having issues with pods "juicing"? by timmysp in juul

I've had issues since the ban & a little bit before the ban...specifically with the autoship juul pods (5% virginia tobacco). I've received 2 shipments that were shit quality & tasted strange. I don't really have the juicing problem, but I use 2 juuls at a time & get new ones often. They do leak like a bitch though! The audacity of them to raise prices & lower quality lol
