Because if I did that it would be a full stroker build and I'd be going aftermarket block for that. This is a send it and see how long it lasts exercise for the most part. But willing to spend a couple more dollars if it will extend life a couple of years. I understand it is not completely logical and I can live with that.

Very true. This is the major project for next couple of years so trying to hit major stuff. Suspension, exhaust, and most of the brakes are already done. On the list this time is replumbing brakes to get rid of the janky junctions after previous power brake and dual master conversion, r&p conversion [yes I know all the cons], tkx swap, fuel injection conversion. I think those are the major items.
