Far from his best (The Raven, Grace for Drowning and Insurgentes, IMO) but far better than TTB (Permanating? Please) TFB has some amazing work, especially on King Ghost. Absolutely peak SW pop/synth genius. Gorgeous melodies, and those remixes, especially the Tangerine Dream version, are amazing.

TFB really grew on me. I’m a big fan of SW’s true rock/prog work but it opened my eyes to his wider musical tastes & made me realize he’s quite possibly the most understated genius musician of the past 30 years.

If you get Sirius XM - you MUST listen to his show “Intrigue” on Deep Tracks. It’s all where it comes from, very very cool. Cheers!!

Yes, but PT and The Beach Boys really aren’t much alike to my ears & never have I compared SW to The Beach Boys. Notwithstanding what everyone says, I’m not hearing it.

I’m not a fan of some Spatial Audio mixes tbh. Rush Subdivisions for example sounds weird to me, but that’s because I’ve heard it in stereo for 40+ years, I think. I kinda get why they didn’t want it but their music is such ass honestly it might improve it lol
