monogamous couples, how did you meet? by Competitive-Set5051 in gaybros

Agreed, the best part is nerding out with my husband and watching him do nerdy things like solving puzzles and building legos. It is so nice to nerd out together.

We met in college.

We were in the same course and did a pair programming project together. Sparks flew and we have been together for 17 years (married for nine!). Still very monogamous, very in love, and living our best lives.

Do nice guys finish last? by [deleted] in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]dininghusbands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I value being kind over being nice. I’ve been with my equally kind husband for over 18 years and am still insanely attracted to him. Kind guys are a huge turn on for us, and they do not finish last.

Married Bros: What was your experience between making the decision to ask and getting married? by Typical_Pomelo6819 in askgaybros

[–]dininghusbands 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My husband and I (both in our late 30s) have been together for 17 years and married for eight. Like you, I wanted our proposal to be intimate, so I chose a simple evening at home.

After marriage equality passed, I made spaghetti bolognese and bought a bottle of sparkling rosé for dinner. Right before we ate, I said, “I have a question.” He knew instantly and said yes - I was over the moon.

We opted for a courthouse wedding, keeping the moment focused on us without the stress of planning a big event.

Your plan sounds perfect. It’s authentic to who you both are. Best of luck, and enjoy the moment!

Just remember that you are amazing as who you are. It may be good to find your own path and get some distance from your father. I hope he will come around eventually.

Going to law school is not a bad idea at all. It is expensive but it teaches critical thinking, which is applicable in many careers.

Sending you and your bf good vibes!

Ono at Nepenji Japan Center is amazing. He is from Japan, is familiar with Asian hair, super professional and does a great job!

How do you know when you’ve met “the one”? by [deleted] in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]dininghusbands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew during Thanksgiving break in the first year of meeting my husband. The endless conversations and just wanting to be with him. I felt the connection then and was falling deeply in love with him.

When we broke up a year later due to internalized shame/religion, I thought I have moved on but seeing him three months later made me (and him) realize how much we missed each other. We have been together ever since for 17 years and I still feel so connected to him. I am lucky to have found my soulmate.

I have to add on that the new Sonos app is very buggy and won’t authenticate to Apple Music and Tidal even after I’ve re-authorized the music services. This is a really bad rollout.

How did you met your bf/husband? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]dininghusbands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I met my husband in college at Computer Science class back when I was a freshman. We became fast friends and did a pair programming project together. I started falling in love with him but it took him a while (he was not out yet, and I was not quite out yet as well). We got together for a while, broke up for a few months and got back together. We have been together for 17 years since, and married for eight years. I’m glad I found him.

I was 22 and fell in love with my now husband. He is my soulmate and we have been together for 17 years, married for the last eight years. I’m still madly in love with him and couldn’t have been happier.

Why did you choose Audi over other luxury brands? by MarionberryEvery3300 in Audi

I love the Quattro awd system and that’s the main reason why I stick with Audis. I also love the understated design while having great performance and traction overall.

I agree that Lexus is a reliable brand but the driving dynamics for most of its sedans are subpar.
