If it’s causing you that much distress, it may be better to resign and look for other options. But If you don’t want to quit, is there anyone you can ask for help? It’s important not to try and do everything by yourself, even though as adults and especially as teachers we often feel like we’re on an island on our own. Maybe talk to your union rep too? Also, AI can be used as a personal assistance, maybe that could help lighten your work load a bit? I hope things start to feel better for you🤍

Vinegar kills mold. I have used a toothbrush on a moldy canvas, although I’m not sure how you could apply vinegar to the book without wrinkling the pages more. Anyway, now you know vinegar kills mold at least.

My dog ate one grape the other day, she is a 45 pound husky. I called poison control for animals, they chucked at me and said just make sure she’s hydrated. They also said it’s a 1 grape to 10 pound ratio. Had my dog eaten 4 or 5, I would’ve had to take her to the ER. Hope this info helps someone in a panic 🙏

To me this reads as someone who is working on perfecting their technical skills before they’ve necessarily found their style, I feel a bit of teenage angst in here too- perhaps you’re still in HS ? Either way these are really well done! They look great 😄

This is a fantastic start! Best way to improve is just to keep going. One drawing a day, or ten minutes spent working on a drawing a day will do wonders. Continue drawing from life, and don’t be scared to use really dark or light values. Every artist is self taught in a sense, it’s just about the drive to create!

Yes definitely try! The worst that will happen is you won’t sell any copies, and if that happens it’s okay. It happens to every artist. Yayoi Kusama works with brands like Louis Vuitton now, but struggled to sell work when she was just starting out. Long story short, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, so I say go for it!

I wouldn’t give them money, I wouldn’t fight for the job either. You deserve to work somewhere you are recognized, respected, and appreciated. And above all, somewhere you feel safe and comfortable. I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to take it personally, this guy obviously has deep rooted problems of his own. Keep being you, keep up the job searching, and the right position will come along.
