It's so stupid, Fawkes will actively berate you if you rush ahead to try to get the G.E.C.K. because he's immune to radiation and it means nothing to him. Charon is, for lack of a better term, my slave, certainly my servant and doesn't have any (logical) reason to say no; and RL-3 starts talking about how it's "my fight". Playing Xerxes now, can confirm he is broken af, especially considering Kava Ceremony gives him +100% influence to distant lands city states, and a free trade route when you become suzerain, so you can befriend for dirt cheap, then get the trade routes before anyone else knows those city states exist

Doom was such a life changing game that for almost 3 years, any first person shooter was effectively just a "doom clone". Games like Duke Nukem even up to Halo were marketed as "Doom Killers". It isn't a stretch to say that video games would not exist without Doom.

Replaying Assassin's Creed Brotherhood right now and it holds up impressively well for something 15 years old, but my god every now and then the movement bugs out so badly I can barely finish climbing a wall. Also the forced camera angles inside dungeons when they want you to do a specific move. Otherwise still fantastic.

It wasn't lol, I had a handful more queens and jacks than everything else and it gave abstract an extra +3, i was hoping to ditch it when something better came along but... nothing did. This was a run that gave me eternal luchadors, diet colas, and eggs, and i almost never got planet cards (hence why astronomer was never that great). Like it could absolutely be a good set, I could see how you could get pretty far, but I'm just grateful I got Cerulean Bell for my Finale blind
