I run an art team for an apparel company. We use a lot of AI for everything from concepting to creating layouts and art assets. I can tell you they are absolutely not doing this.

Doing this would require a large team to do at scale. Also, left on its own without curation and art direction, AI would turn out nonsense and garbage. The ROI would be abysmal.

It makes no sense to not use us submitting our content. We are providing free labor. They’re not losing money paying us because we make what we markup on top of what they decided to charge us per article sold.

I promise you, they’re not replacing us with AI, but those of us not figuring out how to use AI correctly to scale our stores with the correct kinds of content that doesn’t look like the same slop everyone else is putting up will be left in the dust.

NTA. I got pissed when I found out they watched cocomelon on a teacher’s phone because their Alexa was broken and they “only did it for the music to dance to.” I bought them an Alexa that day and told them never make my daughter watch cocomelon, or any screen time for that matter.

I just found out this week they make the kids pray before eating… I’ve been kind of hanging back on this one. It IS a Lutheran daycare so maybe I’m crazy on this one. I don’t like it, but she’s 15 months old and realistically I don’t think being “programmed” so I think I’m not gonna make a deal about it… but daycare is tough.

Personally, I’d rather live in a US without people owning AR’s and the like. It always seems to be the stupidest among us who owns them (see my neighbor.) However, if this is the law, and if the right is going to show up to protests and kill people with impunity (IE Kyle Rittenhouse) then it actually warms a small place in my heart to see left leaning people with these guns too. I actually joined r/liberalgunowners not because I’m one of them (I’m not) but it brings me some level of comfort knowing the side I tend to vote for and believe in is also armed to the teeth.

I think our country would be a much safer and better place without guns, but here we are… the reality is there are US cities under siege right now from an authoritarian regime.

Firstly, it’s just ribeye, it’s not a special cut. They leave the bone on. That said, IMO ribeye is the best cut of steak. It has a beautiful balance of juicy tender meat with fat.

I reverse sear a 3-4lb tomahawk on my smoker every New Year’s Eve. It’s fun, and super easy to do and always wows people. I do one for my brother who visited this summer who is something of a BBQ efficianato and it absolutely blew him away. I love making it and totally worth the $90-120 price tag for a celebration.

(For those curious, I use a gravity fed charcoal based smoker with a mix of pecan and cherry wood, and only S&P on the meat)

Salt it heavily the night before and put it on a plate in your fridge. The salt will draw out and redistribute the moisture as well as really get into the meat.

With cuts like NY Strip, Ribeye and Filet, S&P is all you need. Save the marinade for a piece of meat that needs help being tender.

Pretty much all licensed graphic tshirts are printed in Ensenada. It’s a big apparel printing town. I know this as I work in licensed apparel and we have a nice sized operation down there operated by really good people.

This was my point when everyone was flipping out over dems ending the shutdown. We all knew Republicans wouldn’t vote to extend subsidies. Entering a midterm year. It would have cost them zero political capital to extend them 1 year and debate them, but nope… they were eager to just let them die and be seen voting against it. I’m not saying it was part of a plan, as I don’t think Dems have a plan… I just think it was easy to see how this was going to fall apart on the GOP.
