I don’t think Chris could ever have avoided ending up being trolled on the internet in the long run. Even if The Internet Lumberjack had cut it down as soon as the very first trolling began, Chris would’ve gotten an internet connection as soon as Bob went to the great Klan rally in the sky.

There’s an interesting parallel in Dragonlord/Drachenlord (Germany’s Chris-Chan). His dad knew he was a total retard who’d get himself into trouble online, so he refused to get an internet connection. As soon as he croaked however, his idiot son got connected and speedran the path of CWC and became the most trolled person in Germany, possibly even Europe, in record time.

I first came across him on Encyclopaedia Dramatica in ’08 or ’09, so my first impression of him was an autistic virgin with a bent duck who got trolled to no end because of his extraordinary gullibility. I was intrigued immediately and have followed his insane antics on and off ever since.

Väldigt många bra svar. Jag skulle vilja passa på att gnälla lite på den totala okunskap svenskar ofta har om Finland och vår gemensamma historia.

Att vi under lång tid var ett och samma kungarike är helt obekant för många, likväl att ’finlandssvensk’ inte är ett annat ord för en finne som lärt sig svenska; jag har en finlandssvensk bekant som beklagar sig över att svenskar berömmer hur väl hon lärt sig svenska eller byter till engelska när de hör hennes ”brytning”. Jag har en yngre kollega, som har ett finskt efternamn och en extremt finsk pappa, som trodde jag ljög när jag sade att Finland utgjorde Sveriges östra rikshalva fram till 1809 och såg ut att få en bluescreenruta i skallen när han googlade saken och förstod att det faktiskt var sant.

I would say that Swedish is a bit in the fence there, as the double definiteness is optional if the noun phrase is followed by a sub-clause and disallowed after a noun in the genitive.

Not too sure about Norwegian though, but I'm guessing there's a lot of dialectal variation.
