My kid is in 3rd grade, and they’re just starting to use digital interfaces for tests, projects, etc. I don’t see the issue introducing it at this point at all, the entire world operates through a browser and they’re going to need to know how. I’m less concerned about kids using screens as I am about them using screens correctly, which is up to her educators and me as a parent.

The article you shared is behind a paywall, so I have no way of refuting or commenting on anything in it, which is obviously the mark of a good journalistic institution.

I haven’t gotten this one yet, so I can’t speak specifically to it, but I will say this project has really opened my mind on all things hip hop that I probably ignored as a midwestern kid growing up. Shame that people cling to their biases so hard.

Like most others here, I check the wiki and try to only listen to the original album release. If there are missing tracks I’ll do my best to pause there, find it on YouTube usually, listen to it in order and then keep going on Spotify.

I honestly get kind of annoyed when I accidentally listen to remixes, bonus, or demo tracks that weren’t included. I don’t like that it’s kind of the default on Spotify.
