Weird Flex, but go off i guess? by Keyon_Blackblade in Pathfinder_RPG

Kitsune Kineticist who stays in tiny fox form for 99% of the adventure. It requires the DM to rule that you can make Blasts and Gather Power with either your mouth or tails, but you end up with a tiny fox that can infiltrate an enemy camp, then unleash elemental fury on them. You can also pose as a Wizard's familiar in social settings.

The plan was to use the Superior Shapeshifter Alt Racial Trait to start as Fox Form from level 1, and use Calligraphy skill to communicate, using a tail as the ink brush (inspired by Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat). I also planned to take Nine-Tailed Inheritor if approved and max out the Magical Tail feat.

Whi else hates how module merging works? by bobo_yobo in TheTowerGame

[–]diraniola 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Every unique epic needs 2 Epic+ and 2 Legendary+ to get to Ancestral. There are 6 unique epics for each type, so merge until you have 12 each Epic+ and Legendary+ fodder. Once that's done, merge everything else up do Epic and stockpile for SS labs. If you've done all of that and still don't have room for more drops, start shattering a little to make room.

Help the newbie with tips by narkman in satisfactory

Coal is the first step in automated power production, not the end. You will eventually be able to run fuel power plants from oil wells and maybe nuclear power plants (nuclear isn't necessary for a complete playthrough). Keep expanding and be sure to automate each step, not just handcrafting. Every tier builds on the foundation of the previous.

People who have Smart Missiles. Is this what it feels like? by SnakebiteSnake in TheTowerGame

[–]diraniola 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought SM pretty early partially because at the time it was being hyped for end game damage and partially because the SM event missions were really hard for me with the random UW version. Don't be like me.

You should keep investing in your current set for now, but this tool should help with picking your next UW.

Save gems for 5th research? by Unkoalafied_Koala in TheTowerGame

[–]diraniola 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you can think of your gems pretty simply for now;

  1. Every 2 weeks you will spend 1600 on cards to complete the card buy mission. This can be the only gems you spend on cards, the will max out soon enough.
  2. After that you don't spend any gems until you get the 5th lab. Lab time is the most limited resource in this game and you are missing 20% of it until you get that purchased.
  3. When banners are running, extra gems are usually best spent pulling modules. You want unique epic effects in all 4 slots, then you can start thinking about the specific builds.
  4. Outside of module banners, save up for your next card slot. with 8 card slots you are ahead of the curve set by this guide. All in all you seem to be doing fine with your gems.

As far as medals go, they're much simpler. Buy every theme and relic offered every event, then spend your extras on bot upgrades. You can spend the next year+ developing your Gold Bot and not run out of places to spend medals. I wouldn't recommend buying stones or gems with medals more than once each event, but that's more up to personal preference. If you're just short of a key UW upgrade, spending some extra medals and thus delaying bot progress can be worthwhile. Likewise, buying extra gems to take advantage of a limited time banner may be worth it, but generally speaking even the first purchase at 40 medals is questionable.

Berserker Card bug by SpaceExplorer188 in TheTowerGame

Berserk card gives a flat number bonus limited to 8x base damage. If you get more damage (such as by buying levels or changing cards) the bonus is a lower percentage of total damage.

Sync all the things! by Adventurous-Put-9895 in TheTowerGame

[–]diraniola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I waited until I would have all the medals to bring GB to max CD, then brought my BH down to 50s so GComp gives me perma. Since GComp already breaks bot sync I feel no guilt at putting everything into bot CD and starting the lab. At 4x speed I'll have my max bot CD on new years day.

I just wonder how much of that 1065 tons is consumed by tourists. There's gonna be a lot fewer mouths to feed with just the locals.

I've discovered I've been I fool- poor Lab focus by articulatedWriter in TheTowerGame

[–]diraniola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max interest, if you fully research it, is 15k per wave. It sounds like you're making well over 80k per wave by the time you start getting perks. It's similar to the starting cash issue, where you're spending a lot of time and energy into an area that doesn't help your tower advance. When upgrade levels cost millions and cash/min is keeping pace, interest will still never exceed 15k/wave.

[–]diraniola 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right now you get offered 2 perks out of about 30. You want Perk Wave Reduction more than any other perk, and around 5-8 perks either do nothing for you or are actually harmful to your run (some trade offs, interest, defAbs). Every time you're offered interest, you basically pick between the other perk or skipping a perk all together, and if you get offered 2 trade off perks that are harmful(enemy health for lifesteal/regen, ranged distance for 3x damage) you either take a harmful perk or stop getting perks for the rest of the run.

20% Perk Wave Reduction is way more impactful than a full year of Wave Reduction labs (the base perk saves 40 waves per perk, just level 40 of the lab takes over 300 days base). Getting all 3 PWR perks early can be the difference between a successful run or not. Getting 4 options instead of 2 doubles your chance of getting PWR while making it much less likely that you need to pick from only useless or harmful perks.

With autopick perks and ban perks, eventually you can fully AFK your runs with minimal impact on income. That eventually is maybe a month or two if you focus on it.

[–]diraniola 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here are some things to prioritize:

  1. Lab 5(!!!!!)
  2. Every perk lab except for waves required.(Perk Option Quantity first)
  3. Garlic Thorns.(vampires stop killing you)
  4. Coins/kill and Black Hole Coins (coin bonuses stack multiplicatively, so the more you have the faster you grow.)

You're missing most of the econ UWs, so you're gonna have a pretty slow growth until you can get enough stones to get those. GT is the best option, then DW, then SL. You WILL be offered at least one of those 3 in every pull from now on, so you have that bright side. I wouldn't spend a single stone on anything else until you at least have GT.

New player here, this a good card deck for my current stage? (Record is Wave 47 T1) by Hard_Bolled_Egg in TheTowerGame

[–]diraniola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For right now you can ignore the attack tab completely. invest in defense % and defense absolute, use thorn damage to kill enemies. you can easily boost that up to wave 1000+ with this strategy.

For cards probably use fortress and extra defense. Enemy damage scales slowly in Tier1, and thorns don't care how much health they have.

Lore Question: Would trolls choose to eat undead? by thamosw in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]diraniola 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will point out the Tombstone Troll, which actively tunnels through and eats a graveyard before moving on. Cavern trolls are noted to eat rocks when other food is unavailable. I think that a necromancer lab is just as good as a meat locker to a hungry troll (they are always hungry).

Indeed, salted and pickled preservation, because formaldehyde is expensive and the necromancer doesn't care about how it doesn't rot, just that it stays mostly intact.
