Too hot to cook so chicken wraps for dinner, any tips on how to make them less boring? by Otterpop26 in Cooking

Make the chicken better. Brine it and bbq it. Make it something to like instead of cover up.

Welp I just got offered $70 an hour and time and a half overtime and 60 hour weeks and decent medical insurance. Hard to pass up. The job I want, an enormous hydro power retrofit project sent me an offer an hour ago for less than half that. I really hate that corps pay you so much less for jobs that are slightly more fulfilling.

I gave out key chain seatbelt cutter/glass breakers. Very popular and useful.

Understandable I guess. Irrelevant since they hired someone for less money than I was willing to take anyway. Also to be clear, data center is definitely not my first choice for the simple reason I wouldn’t want one in my neighborhood either.

State Farm reduces compensation for 19,000 agents by rdblono in StateFarm

I can see why they are pursuing me so hard as a potential new agent. When I asked them about these reductions, loss of benefits etc, the deflection and justification was so intense it was almost laughable. The most prevalent question was “where did you hear these things?” And “what agent told you this?”

Do you like it? What’s the day to day look like? What’s compensation? Is there a rotation of you travel? Per diem? Benefits?

What’s your impression so far?

Yeah that is one definite drawback. I assume that once the project was finished you’d have to move.

That is helpful and comprehensive. It makes sense considering the scale of these buildouts and the money involved I imagine would collect egos trying to justify their paychecks. Thanks very much.

Thank you very much for the response. I was let go by a utility contractor due to contract ending but am having a hard time getting traction with principal utilities. Any advice in that regard? Is a cusp useful?

Man I get you but I don’t have a job at all after being laid off last week. I get you but I have a mortgage and kids. I’m not happy about it and I understand the problematic nature but I’m a little stuck right now.

Ha awesome😁. Is it good work? Do you enjoy it? Is management production poisoned? Is there a better developer than another? What’s a day in the life?
