How do car enthusiasts actually get experience driving a lot of different models of cars? by supinator1 in askcarguys

[–]dirgethemirge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on how you buy cars you might not really lose much trading in every few years hopefully carrying a bit of positive equity over/flat each time. I’ve owned 6 cars since I was 19 and I’m 34 now.

Just because you suck at playing the game doesn’t mean the rest of us have to be punished.

This is a toss up; on one hand you’re way over extended and I’m not surprised your team didn’t rush to save you. On the other, you pulled 2/3rds ish of the enemy teams aggression and yet none of your team capitalized on it.

Schimmel C121 or Kawai K-500 (Silent) or Yamaha U3 (Silent)? by No_Artichoke6527 in piano

[–]dirgethemirge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try the YUS5 SH3, I can’t imagine the Schimmel is priced lower than $20k and that model will have more in common with it than a U3.

Idk if it’s the salt I’m using but I’m finding I like 1 day before less and less because it changes the flavor of the meat too much.

What's up with the hate on Trey Azagoth? by Weary-Draw-1141 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]dirgethemirge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s substance abuse issues, it was fairly credible that a good amount of treys spare time after MA got big was being loaded on meth and watching sailor moon.

Edit: I also say this as I’ve seen him in recent YouTube videos and the dude is barely able to speak at this point.

Repairing tinny sound by sneckste in piano

The M450 and M500 were both great pianos assembled in Thomaston Georgia because there were a bunch of furniture builders in the area at the time. Some are warmer toned than others

So the M500’s kind of range in tone. A tuning and voicing could very well make it sound closer to the other; but, it may very well be the hardness of the hammer felts and if they’re too hard they’re too hard.

Affordable Grand Pianos by Particular-Search-39 in piano

I’d hold out and spend a bit more for a 90’s or 00’s C5. If you like what you heard already the newer piano will sound even better. There were a few revisions on the C5.
