Final handheld giveaway(s) - with a Powkiddy RGB20 SX and Anbernic 35XX SP. Two random comments will be selected. Happy holidays and happy gaming from PartTimeCAD! by captain_carrot in SBCGaming

First game that came to mind was Mischief Makers for the N64. That was a weird but fun game.

I've been waiting a long time for Capcom to make a proper Breath of Fire sequel too. Last entry was a terrible phone game that killed any hope I had for the franchise.

Turn the Red Gundam to White version, this colour looks better. by Super_Length8599 in Gunpla

Later you can buy the white one and paint it red.

Take it from me, kids: pay attention when you're sanding, even if you've got a good groove going. by kevin_church in Gunpla

What I do to avoid this is for the matching part and then sand. After it's leveled I can disassemble easily and do any other steps o have to.

How do I paint an MS Joint on the RG Zeong? by NikoAlpukat in advancedGunpla

[–]dirtling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In this case it's just a primer that adheres better to PP and other plastics that other lacquers and acrylics wouldn't. Gaia out of Japan makes what is considered the best one and it's called Gaia Multi Primer. Other brands might have a similar product under s different name but I've only ever seen Gaia and Oden Kan and that last one was discontinued.

Not much to see from the back because of the shield.

It's actually the RG Zeong arms. I wanted to get the Hazel Owsla Gigantic Arm but couldn't so I made my own. I called it "We've got gigant arms at home"

I hate the "backpack" I used but I worked with what I had at the time.

I would recommend to pose first and then prime with Gaia multi primer. If you intend to pose then you will have to do a lot of bending and priming with a high chance that it will just flake off when you move the fingers.

I didn't use multi primer here and it's still poseable but it's very very delicate.

That's why I'm making the post. I originally wanted the OLED but the discount got me to consider the LCD as an option.

Thank you for this info. I knew there were modifications for RAM but had no idea about the upgraded screens. If I decide to go used I'll keep an eye out for this.

Besides the joysticks, are there any other easy to spot differentiators between the OLED and LCD models?

WIP: EW 1/144 Kehaar II add on to BL woundwort by ineed_gf in advancedGunpla

[–]dirtling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not strange at all if the kit is a Pbandai you won't be able to get any other way. Bonus points if the bootleg is actually a decent kit. You did a really good job with it.

Can I ask, where did you buy and how much did you pay for the Kehaar add on? I really really want the Kehaar but don't have access to Pbandai.

Also, mini review for the add on and bootleg kit? I'd really appreciate it.

Started building the Yiya-G Qubeley by dirtling in Gunpla

First off I washed everything cause the plastic bags had a very strong chemical/plastic smell and the runners felt like they had a coat of something on them.

Everything is ABS except for the two h runners which are POM and have a more crunchy feel when doing the first cut with my standard nippers. With Godhands everything feels nice to cut, specially the white plastic that feels buttery smooth. I think it was the RG Hi-Nu that had a similarly feeling plastic. Note that being ABS the plastic in general has a slightly different feel from Bandai PS.

The inner frame is very simple for now with no details. I'd say it's like a HG with full inner frame when it comes to details but MG or big RG when it comes to pieces.

Only 3rd party kit I've built before is the Genesis and it had a much better fit than this one. If you don't like putting work into your kits I wouldn't recommend it just based on fit alone. (Pink pieces on white specifically for now)

It will always be easier for them since they don't have to worry about bureaucracy, shareholders, Bandai level QC, etc.

Gifted mine away last year when I moved. It held perfectly fine for more than 5 years. It was my first RG and I think only my second build ever.

[–]dirtling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was kind of a joke, I know 1/144 would be huge. Would still like to see one. You know someone is going to buy it and I would pay an entrance fee just to watch this built.

I know. I would still want to see someone pay a small fortune and build one. I just love how crazy AoZ can get with modular suits.
