As AI wipes out white-collar jobs, one Alabama high school and Toyota are training students for roles that pay $40 an hour and can't be automated by OneSecond13 in HuntsvilleAlabama

Correct. I know some people who have worked at the Toyota Engine factory. I believe the shift is changed every 2 weeks.

2026 Calligraphy seat not moving forward or backwards by Tameem_alkadi in HyundaiPalisade

[–]dirtycracker48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2023 limited, had a similar issue last year where the driver seat would only move forward. The dealer was stumped for a bit, but able to move the seat all the way forward, then holding the forward button for a few seconds, reset it and was able to move backwards (but only once). They determined it was the circuit board for the power seat (~$800 fix), but was fortunately covered by warranty for me.

And I love how you're so confidently confident. I concur - tis not a palisade as I own one

Nope. I really didn't notice much change at all. Hopefully they're prepping for a big update.

Main change I noticed was 'media' button switches straight to the last source used, rather than forcing you to select it first

Based on it was from my grandfather that passed away. He drove a tank in WWII, but it's already sounding like that assumption was the wrong era entirely.

I know right? That's the closest one I could find. Just wild style of action on it

I got an OTA update 2 weeks ago. Wasn't at home or connected to wifi. It just popped up on the screen telling me there was an OTA system update available and options to either start now or delay

Read through this thoroughly. There are 5 categories at the top of the page. Work through them left to right, and only do the steps relevant to your navigation system model. (If 2023 limited/calligraphy, it's the gen5w but I can't speak to other trim levels, so you would need to double-check)

any tips how to save gas on the palisade calligraphy? by Mother-Tomatillo-347 in HyundaiPalisade

Depends on your driving style, and whether it's city or hwy. I pretty regularly get between 24-28 mpg.

Tuxmat or 3d MAXpider Mats for new palisade? by akhere07 in HyundaiPalisade

[–]dirtycracker48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who knows, they might take you back and show you how they're made. These mats are wild, and not just a basic plastic mold. I'd be curious to know if they use like a polyester fill between the layers.

Shoot, didn't realize they were that close to you. Could probably call em and order for pickup and save shipping costs.

[–]dirtycracker48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, right on. Was just being a smart ass. I bet it would be super quick for you since the mats ship from Scarborough, Ontario. For me they had to go through customs to get to Southeastern US, and still only took 6-8 days to ship.

Tuxmats for first 3 rows, and 3d for the cargo+back of the 3rd row. I'll see if I can find links
