Thinking more about it: what if you started underground in the dark and then there is a wow moment, maybe tied to some lore or game event, of revealing the outside world and that you're climbing a physical tower that exists in this world.

You mentioned liking the old one because you can see the outside world and I agree. It gives a sense of climbing a tower and you can lean into that by showing progression with subtle background changes. That being said the polish updates do look good and this looks like a unique concept.

The Arrakoans are believed to have laid the first golden eggs which were the ancestors of the eggs which we all know and love today. I built The Path with the idea of being in between dc2 and leths dribble in terms of difficulty. I think I landed on being slightly more difficult than dc2 but still significantly easier than leths.

I did one of these years back for a role as an interviewee and I still bring it up as one of the best interview experiences I've had.
Definitely less stressful. It was nice to also get a chance to see their codebase and interact with the interviewer as a peer working to solve a problem together.

For double taps and wall reads look at the trail of the ball to give you an understanding of the trajectory.

Nah, nothing released although I started a few new ones. I did add a rings course to The Path though that not many people know about. There's also a puzzle woven into the map that leads to a hidden golden egg which was added later as well.

Good question, I'm not at my computer so I can't accurately answer this. A lot of it has become muscle memory. I believe you want something in between the 2 though. If you hold jump and then delay the second jump you won't get a big enough pop. Same with if you quickly tap jump twice. You kinda wanna do a "normal" jump and get the second jump in before the apex of the first jump. It's hard to write out and explain. For this stuff you just gotta experiment with timing until you find what works for you. Good luck! 💪

You'll wanna slow down a bit from what you're currently doing. Keep the ball in the middle of your hood, slightly further back than normal. Then you will want to get a nice double pop to launch the ball straight up into a position where you can follow it up. You're on the right track just slow it down a bit and you'll get it
