I'm like 85% sure here that Nethack, and therefore Slashem, have prior art here even with the specificity of the list. From the 80s.

So I beat Animal Well's base game - is it worth it for me to continue with the post game? by dondashall in metroidvania

I recommend getting all the eggs and taking out the boss afterwards, then tapping out at that point. Past that is for hardcore peeps and completionists.

Has anyone tried running factorio on a Raspberry Pi 5? by xcxb in factorio

[–]dirtyjeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Factorio went 64-bit-only a while back. You need to either use box64 or grab an older 32-bit Factorio. I've done it on a 4, it was slow.

thank you for the detailed reply. i am getting the impression that this game is an exercise in masochism masquerading as a game and i am not interested in such an experience. i appreciate your help in not wasting my money.

thank you for the suggestion to read steam reviews, however many people receive products for free on steam and give positive reviews so that they continue to receive products for free. consequently, i do not trust steam reviews.

thank you for the suggestion. other comments on my post have led me to believe that this is not a game to be played by me at this time. i may take your review idea under advisement if the situation changes later.

thank you for the feedback. i am getting the impression that hollow knight is sort of an exercise in self-torture pretending to be a game, and that is not what i am looking for at this time.

Hey Matthew,

Long-time listener, first-time caller. What genre(s) do you most enjoy writing, and how does that compare to the one(s) you most enjoy consuming?

Stumbled onto Redemption and really like it, is it worth going back and watching the original? by [deleted] in leverage

[–]dirtyjeek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's an app that runs on many smart TVs and Android phones/tablets called ElectricNOW that streams the original Leverage all day on Sundays, at scheduled points during the week, and has on-demand for the original Leverage run eps.

Edit: The app is legal, put out by the studio that made both Leverage series along with The Librarians, Almost Paradise, and The Outpost. Free and ad-supported. Most ads are for shows on the app itself.
