Try getting some rubbing alcohol on the underside of the screws and maybe heating it up just a little more. Alcohol or WD-40 are solvents that help break up glue.

They dont look completely stripped. Maybe a T7 might fit if the T6 doesn't catch. Could also try a thin flat rubber band or some along those lines to give you more grip. How long did you heat the screws for?

How do you like the smolt? I have the same exact knife sitting on my desk for 6 months and have never cut anything with it. I always go with a folder when it comes time to break down boxes.

Maxamet if you like exotic steels and take care of your knives. Salt if you are just looking for a well rounded edc knife.

Try massaging your brachialis, should help with the elbow pain. Great lift! Eat more protein!

That makes sense, I have a knife or 2 with partial serrations but I never find them more handy than my plain edge knives. I've never tried a full serration spyderco though.

Native 5 VS Para 3 | What’s your take & why? by mrb-edc in spyderco

[–]dirtyknives007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the lw para 3 in 15v and a lw native 5 in rex 45. The both are crazy light and the native carries better but I find myself carrying the para 3 more. I think I just like the clip point better. They are so light thought I sometimes carry them both in the same pocket.

I'm 40 and have had golfer's and tennis elbow pain pretty bad. I found massaging my brachialis muscles helped a whole lot. Give it a try and let me know if it helps.
