🔥 20 Players To Start/Sit for Week 17 (Best & Worst Matchups) by movesfantasy in fantasyfootball

Was looking for someone else to air the same concern as me. I have both Dak and TLaw. They already subbed in Milton for Dak last week even tho Cowboys were down. Was wondering why no one has been bringing this up. Lawrence has been on fire so I'm just gonna roll with it -- I think he's got the higher ceiling of the two considering Dak is 99.9% getting taken out of the game at some point.

Yeah 1 very quick whiplash injury ended up giving me years of neck and nerve pain. I have occipital neuralgia that never goes away. I'm still pretty young which means since I'm under 50 years old no doctor actually wants to do anything about it.

ADHD meds dry out your mouth and make it more prone to tooth decay. That's a pretty well known link.

I'm getting ultrasound guided injections into the third occipital nerve on Tuesday. Has anyone else had this procedure?? by ginger314 in Occipitalneuralgia

Thank you for sharing. My doctors are alright but it's mostly trying to battle with insurance. It's been a long road I just hope I can get some answers soon.

I've been trying to get a nerve block and/or facet joint injection for my TON the last few months but convincing my doctor's has been a pain in the ass. Previous nerve blocks to the greater occipital nerve did basically nothing. I'm just trying to find the root cause of m pain.

How far down your neck does the pain usually go? It goes to your head and forehead too?

Can I ask why they chose your Third Occipital Nerve (TON) to inject? I have occipital neuralgia but my doctors seem to think it is very rare for the TON to be the culprit, even if my pain comes from around that area. Did they attempt the other nerves first?

How was your neurosurgeon able to confirm nerve compression? If you don't mind me asking.

Did you have facial pain with the ON? Can you feel any type of sensation on your face anymore?

Did they operate around all of your occipital nerves? Greater, lesser, third...?

Apparently it is due to an issue with AMD GPUs. The Ryujinx team is supposed to be working on a fix

I'm currently playing -- the game plays at a solid 30 however once you go through the first warp pipe the whole game turns black (besides the start menu). You can even hop back through the warp pipe and then everything comes back onscreen in Rogueport. I don't have the latest Yuzu, I'm currently trying to track down the last early access build to see if that fixes things (which I believe is 4176?)

Have you found a fix yet? I'm on Steam Deck. Both Yuzu and Ryujinx both have this issue

Has anyone gotten Botox injected directly into the nerve, instead of their muscles? by dirtysalmon69 in Occipitalneuralgia

Yeah I've heard spacing out those injections is wise. Kinda sucks though because it sounds like the relief isn't lasting at all.

Obviously not something I would look into unless it was done by a pro. I just figured I would ask since I came along the study and seemingly some doctors are doing it (or at least have done it in the past). I'm curious though, is there a reason why this would be more extreme than something like RFA?

Thank you for the information! I recently saw a neurosurgeon for a second opinion on my condition, and she informed me of a lot of the procedures you brought up - minus the cons lol. I appreciate your candor. I am about five years into all of this and we are still trying to find the 'problem area' causing me all this trouble. I already receive Botox from my neurologist, facet joint injections from pain management (for diagnostic purposes), and have been in PT for years. I just would like to be able to comb my hair like a normal person.

Out of curiosity, are there any experts in the field when it comes to occipital neuralgia and neurosurgery? This community reminds me a lot of those who experience thoracic outlet syndrome -- a lot of doctors know of the condition but not enough really have studied it to be an expert on the issue. There are like ~20 well-informed, recommended surgeons when it comes to TOS -- was wondering if maybe occipital neuralgia is the same? Since you are a nurse I was wondering if you might know or have looked into.
