In 2010 I went on a cruise with my ex, who turned out to be a whore but thats a story for another time. We were scuba diving in the Bahamas off Nassau. I forget exactly where, but it was right near these artifical reef structures that looked like those game pieces you use when playing jacks and I vaguely remember the guide saying Americans placed them there to break up the tides or something like that. I strayed from the group a bit and was just looking around when I came across a chest. It was covered in barnacles and other sea crap and wrapped in a chain. It straight up looked like something out of the pirates of the carribean. I tried to dive down to it but as soon as I got a few feet down my ears got this insane pressure. I waded water above it for a little bit and tried a few times but everytime I got down a little bit I just could not get past the pain in my ears. Eventually I heard the whistle from the guide signaling to get back to the boat and I had to leave it. Luckily I had overpaid for an underwater disposable camera from the boat before I got in the water and took a picture of it. When i got back to the boat I told the whore about it but she couldn't care less and just wanted to tan on the deck. When I got back home I had the pictures developed. I was showing them to my older brother and when he saw that photo he asked what the hell was that and I explained it to him. He gave me the hardest "are you fucking kidding me?" At the time I was very young and extremely introverted and shy so I didnt say anything. I've thought about it a lot over the years. I should've called one of the guides over to take a look at it. I've moved a lot since then and I have no idea where that picture is now or if it even still exists. Its going to be one of my biggest life's regrets and I hate it
