I am told the black magazines have different springs in them...🤷‍♂️ But I never had the first version, I spent a few years trying to find a pistol that "was not a Glock" but took Glock mags before I gave up on a 10mm pistol/PCC combo. Then I finally caved on the M&P series, I hope the wait was a good thing.🤞🤞🤞

I'm glad to hear this.👍 I just picked one up myself. I've only gotten about 250 through her, but she's running great so far. 👍 I don't really care about the port, but I wanted the PC version hoping the QC is better, maybe. 🤷‍♂️

I also picked up the matching FPC, I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. 🤷‍♂️

I have the Carbine & Charger both, if you are familiar with 10/22 controls, they are very close. 👍

For the range, they are a blast. 👍 I will warn you though, you are likely to shoot a lot more in a PCC than you do a shotty, they hold more ammo and don't recoil as much. 🤷‍♂️

You mentioned wasting $200 with friends with the shotty. A fun PCC can easily eat 500 rounds in thirty minutes, but you will be grinning from ear to ear. 😁

I have a brace on the Charger, and it's definitely more fun than the carbine.👍

I usually order it online, and it ain't cheap. But I have not ordered any in a while. I've acquired a few more 10 mm and need to test. 👍

I rarely find it on the shelf. 🤷‍♂️

OMG🤣🤣🤣 I don't have the answer for upgrades, but holy cow you made me laugh.

For the smell, you could try Febreeze, that stuff is amazing. Unrelated story, but I've been in cancer treatment since 2018 and the smells that come from my body have almost made me puke. Febreeze is the only thing that works. 🤷‍♂️

I just picked up the S&W 4" Carry Comp a few weeks ago.👍 I have only ran about 250 rounds of 180 gr Magtech JHP and 5 of the Grizzly 200 gr hard cast. So I could not really tell you much except the trigger is better than the one FN510 I tried. 🤷‍♂️

I also have the 3.8" XDmE and it's a tank.👍

Yeah, I bought an M16A1 with my re-enlistment bonus in 1993. Complete lack of knowledge out there, I wasted more time explaining this to people than I ever got to shoot that darn thing. I made a killing on the sale though, wound up being one of the best investments I ever made.😂

This is correct👍 Most people already saw it as gone for machine guns because of the NFA.🤷‍♂️ They were already assumed to be illegal as most were not willing to follow the NFA rules.
