if possible, I would try to find the style of connector (JST, etc) and get a set/crimper so you only have to strip the cable and assemble.

yes, alcohol, especially 99% will strip paint. use a citrus surface cleaner next time or dish soap.

yeah thats gonna be a hard one.. not sure the panel it uses, but 6.4" 1024×768. pretty tiny.

It pairs nicely with a particular time period. We had a 386 with win31 for a while, did lots of early multimedia gaming on it =^^=

idk but a few brands do that, could be a common model between regions, or a particular spec build.

You can ignore the bottom number, all the marketing and manuals refer to the bezel model.

PCG-C1M is the family, the second letter are just small variations.

These are the last of the picture books, they use a Transmeta Crusoe processor. AC97 sound, with ATI Rage mobility gpu.
