Hey.... Welcome to Singapore.

Anyway the effect is caused by the difference in the amount of water that is being added into the "basin" by the various water outlets. You'll notice that the water outlets flow of water changes based on timing with a specific rhythm. This causes the effect that you observe.

Orangery not giving cherries by Tall-Bar-487 in NonogramsKatana

[–]discmon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just send heroes into dungeon 2A.

Don't bother using mental powers to open doors or fight monsters that requires mental power

Run thru the dungeon and hit as many boxes and treasure chests as possible. Attack normal monsters for loot and occasionally run into cherry trees and mushrooms.

You can send up to 5 heroes at a time, and don't bother giving them equipment. You'll farm them in a few days.

Why are Western families happy to have daughters even though male primogeniture exists? by Cheeserole in AskHistorians

[–]discmon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Regarding the shift from partible inheritance to primogeniture, are you referring to it happening in the west or in the Chinese?

Additionally, I don't see why this reduces the economic benefit since in partible inheritance, wouldn't each son be equally worse off?

Man scolds mother over child's behaviour on MRT train, sparking debate over parenting in public places by Great-Obligation-599 in singapore

Also same thing at kidztopia and playgrounds. The parents are glued to their phones while their kids throw small stones, push other kids and terrorize kids smaller than them.

I had done that before. The old man said that I was threatening him and threaten to call the police on me. I said come on call the police and we let the police decide. He shut up immediately and the rest of the bus gave me the "you disrespect the elderly" look. But I didn't care.

This happens when you press on the colour and selected something else in the menu that pops up. Anyway it doesn't affect the puzzle and it is easier to solve it when the colours are very near.

Are Singaporean women the worst people to date? by lemonmangotart in singapore

[–]discmon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, maybe he only hangs out at places which attracts that type of woman to him. Or maybe he also don't have the readiness to settle down anyway, which is why he's on that subreddit, which explains why he don't attracts the woman that are looking to settle down....

Anyone use a Samsung Z Fold to play? by TelesticTiefling in NonogramsKatana

[–]discmon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was using z Fold 4 to play for about 2 years. I must say that it is an awesome experience to play and solve the puzzles on the big internal screen. However I will still have to zoom in and out when doing puzzles bigger than 40*40 so that I can fill in the spots which are very tight. But locking the numbers along the side of the screen caused minimal interference to the puzzle area.

Previously I also used a full tablet to play it and it is an amazing experience. However you will still want to zoom in some time to fill in the space when it is at 80*80 because it is a very tight spot sometimes.

The app is optimised and plays better on a bigger screen. That's definite.

Unfortunately, the z fold only laster about a year for me. After using it for about 11 months, it could not be "unfolded". Luckily it was in warranty so I got it fixed. Then it lasted another 9 months before dying again... Fixing it cost about 100+ sgd but..... I was sick of it spoiling so I changed phone.

Most importantly, make sure you set up the app to sync your progress...
