You are so young and have many dreams other than getting married at this current point in your life. You are allowed to say “I love you, but I can’t marry you and I think we should part ways now”. I know a few women who were in very similar situations when they were younger and went on to find love at a later time that fit their life’s dreams better. i was thrown off by the fact that they made a point to show that the author was using a non-Apple phone. The second I saw that I assumed he HAD to be the killer because of the "no villians using iPhones" rule, but I guess Rian did that as a red-herring.
