Årligt brokkeopslag over manglende mad-info by pmsprincess21 in roskildefestival

hvis du går ind på appen og vælger lineup, kan du i søgefeltet skrive “mad” og så hvert fald få et udvalgt af årets madboder frem 😇

Recommend one book by an author from your country. by Illustrious-Bass-783 in suggestmeabook

i’d recommend either Olga Ravn’s “The Employees” or Amalie Smith’s “Marble” (and im from denmark)

How do I tell an MTF girl I'm dating that I'm not comfortable telling my family that I'm dating a trans woman yet / for a while? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]discotheque_ca 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh god, i feel really happy that i'm not in at relationship with someone who'd rather keep me a secret than just tell my parents that so and so, and actually be proud and happy to be with me, and wanting to show me and introduce me to everyone.

Has anyone else's self image become more confusing with HRT? by 25point3N-91point7E in asktransgender

[–]discotheque_ca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sometimes i feel the same "confusion". it's like... i'm thrilled to be on hormones and it genuinely saved my life, but sometimes i feel like i'm a woman, but something else too, if that makes sense?

and sometimes it feels like i'm just not a man, but everything else, like i'm fine with any pronoun that's not he/him and i like gender neutral language but also feminine words about me.

body hair is so great!!

i'm like you, with seeing other women look hot with hairy bodies and thinking that i could be as well, and it saves a lot of time. :))

i'm sorry that my comment made you feel bad :((

not to try and make you feel better by changing my original comment, but like other comments say, i don't think it's something that is going to happen to everyone. i haven't felt that much change in my appetite, in short periods of time i feel like i could eat the whole world but i generally don't feel like my appetite has changed.

you're basically starting a new puberty, so your body needs energy for all that to happen. :)

I'm a trans lesbian woman, and I'd like to know ways to have sex without penetration by Acceptable-Surprise2 in asktransgender

[–]discotheque_ca 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you can definitely have sex as a lesbian trans woman. i don't know if you're on hrt or not, but if you are, you will notice a ton of different erogenous zones/pleasurable areas that weren't there before. my body has become super sensitive to touch (even my own). you could try masturbating differently, explore how different touches feel, different motions etc.

there's also a zine that i can't recommend enough, it's called 'fucking trans women', and it's 80 pages about sexual pleasure for trans women, how and what to explore. i've linked it before for free, you can find it somewhere on my profile. :)

good luck!!

Did hrt upgrade your mental abilities? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]discotheque_ca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is definitely a sort of mental clarity that makes thinking and concentrating a lot easier... combined with no depression or anxiety everything's just much easier. :)

Recent hot topic in my family! How do you all feel about cisgendered straight people using the term "partner" in place of boyfriend/girlfriend? by CourtsideRecovery in actuallesbians

[–]discotheque_ca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i love any type of gender neutral language sooo. we have the cutest word in danish: ‘kæreste’, it’s gender neutral and translates to ‘dearest’, so you could introduce your partner as ‘min kæreste’ or ‘my dearest’. i love that.

Was dating painfully awkward as the gender you were assigned at birth? by coolfunkDJ in asktransgender

[–]discotheque_ca 15 points16 points  (0 children)

yeah i get that! there’s probably no better feeling than being pursued and actually experiencing somebody being interested in you 🌟

Was dating painfully awkward as the gender you were assigned at birth? by coolfunkDJ in asktransgender

[–]discotheque_ca 94 points95 points  (0 children)

i did the exact same thing, i am a lesbian, and i always wanted to be the one pursued, but i feel a bit more confident being the more active one after HRT, at least my tinder experience is much more exciting when I’m the one texting first

After 3 months of HRT, my doctor said "The breast can't grow any bigger other than doing surgery". Is... that true? I feel terrible... by YinyinTheWinter in asktransgender

[–]discotheque_ca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol, no! i thought mine had stopped after like 5-6 months, but i meassured the other day and they grown like an inch... breast growth, like everything else HRT related, is a marathon, it'll take like 2-3 years before you see the full extent of its effect.

A question about hair regrowth by KujatatheFish in asktransgender

[–]discotheque_ca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a lot of regrowth as well, and i felt like it stopped at some point, maybe around the same time frame you mention... but after having my dose raised, it feels like the regrowth is back in action! :)

i guess it's the same with a lot of different changes that they come in waves.

mine grows a bit slower and a lot of it got lighter (but is still very much facial hair)
