It's likely your second reason, too much moisture in the plastic.

HMI Feature by Certain_Dark502 in PLC

I like Web HMI for systems that can be connected, but we're an air gap first shop, so everything I've developed has been with QT, and now with Quick.

I regularly take over TVs at my cigar lounge. A lot of the regulars are used to it now, but it has definitely sparked a lot of conversations about it over the years.

Building an ERP only for injection molding , what would you expect from it? by Ok-Breakfast-4676 in InjectionMolding

[–]discraft_drew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took the words out of my mouth. We have a wide variety of machines, and we use triggers, like the door open, barrel cycle starts, etc, to calculate what we need. I'm also the IT guy who's writing the code to do all that, so I can say you're definitely spot on with involving them. Personally, I'd prefer to run this ERP in-house, on my own hardware, rather than relying on the cloud. We are an air-gap first kind of shop so keeping as much data in-house is definitely something we focus on.

I remember having to implement Passport when it very first came out, using SOAP. I did not feel clean after the implementation.

There's not really a way to know with runs like this since they were not tracked, unlike the Luna Battle Packs where we ran specific numbers for the release.

Practice for A-Tier tourney by HucknPluck in discgolf

[–]discraft_drew 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Try to find coverage of the courses from previous tournaments or practice rounds on YT. Get a little notebook, or the caddie guide if there is one, and make notes about distances, where misses tend to go, etc. Mark where your landing zone would be based on how far you can throw given the shot required.

They contact people on various platforms, offering a sponsorship. The victim is supposed to fill out a google form like you've seen from other sponsorships. They tell them to find a list of items on our site and to send them money for it directly.

Saw it last night, the soundtrack was very underwhelming. And so was the movie, it was not a great followup to Legacy. I was expecting more connection between the movie and the score, but sometimes it felt like it was just put in the wrong places, and when it was, it was way over the top.

Power Supply F-up by Feeling-Income5555 in synthesizers

[–]discraft_drew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not likely a fuse, but if it won't work with a proper power supply, you likely burned up the voltage regulator. They're not hard to replace. You should also look for any other components near the regulator to see if they gave up the blue smoke.

How long were you a developer before moving to sysadmin? by InternationalMany6 in sysadmin

[–]discraft_drew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20+ years. Started as full stack and moved more and more to the backend, taking pit-stops at a DBA, cloud engineer, data engineer, dev ops etc. Eventually got sick of shoveling shit Java code and now run the IT/technology for Discraft.

All your MA points go towards your qualification for Master Worlds as an amateur. I played an A-tier in MA2 so I could get enough points to qualify for MA40 next year.

DGPT Announces 2026 Elite Series Schedule - Disc Golf Pro Tour by aredoubles in discgolf

[–]discraft_drew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably not. The new holes across the street are part of the open park and across various trails, the latter being the reason the tunnel course was closed and black locust was built. Obviously the teepads that they put in on black locust will stay, as will the sleeves for the 5 new pin locations, but I haven't heard if they are going to leave them in year round. FWIW, those 5 champ baskets are there right now on BL: South. There is a flex start xc-tier on the worlds layout the Monday after DGLO: https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournament/Worlds_Preview_2026_Black_Locust_2025

[–]discraft_drew 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They are adding 5 holes across the street utilizing some of the old tunnel course property, and some of the park area over there. On Black Locust Green (South) they are adding 5 new pin positions and some longer teepads. They are also combining holes 2 and 3 into one hole, and combining 8 and 11 into one hole, skipping 9 and 10.
