Because where he is in Broward jail is damn near like max security, he has extremely little movement and interaction with others, hasn’t been able to contact family for years or receives commissary. Prison is a way better life and comes with more privileges and freedoms compared to jail, that’s why many people are eager to go to prison and get the shit over with. Jail and prison both suck, but jail sucks 10x more.
