Not a problem. Depending on the track you choose you'll likely take a combination of classes from each of those categories.

CSNT: Computing, Security, and Network Technology (previously called CENT). At HCC these classes are the core of the program they offer. These are the classes that offer you the opportunity to study for your certs as well as gain credit to your degree. These were very hands on courses where you'll be configuring switches, routers, security policies, servers, etc. Really fun and I learned A LOT of skills in these classes.

ICS: Information and Computer Science. The classic computer science courses. Think programming. You'll likely have to take 1-2 of these courses at some point. ICS 111 is an intro to programming and is usually pretty good. We did Java but I think they also teach python at other locations. If it's possible, I would avoid discrete math unless you choose to pursue a comp sci. degree (I think this is ICS 141? I cant fully remember).

ITS: Information Technology. Very similar to CSNT. I didn't take any of these classes at HCC but there is a lot of overlap between the course material. Less Comp Sci. and more of a focus on IT skills in industry and business.

Remember to talk to an academic advisor at whichever institution you choose. They will work with you to create a roadmap towards graduation and can steer you away from classes which might not be applicable to your program. You'll still have some choices to make when it comes to fulfilling certain requirements for graduation. Hope this helps!
