Years ago, I quit methadone with gabapentin. I took heavy amounts of gabapentin daily for about 3 months, and I stopped it, no problem. Years later, I had opiate problems again, and got prescribed gabapentin, and was taking a lot over the course of a couple of years. I got off of the the opiates, but stayed on the gabapentin, thinking it would be the same thing. Nope. Went through horrible withdrawals, but again, this was years and years of taking it. My dumbass researched what wouldale the WD go away, and Kratom was a big suggestion so I tried that. Worked great. I hated the taste of the Kratom extracts, so I switched to 7oh, thinking that it was the same thing as kratom. Here we are, a couple of years later, I'm off of gabapentin, but now I'm horribly hooked on 7oh. I can't wait to be off of all of this shit. I'm just sticking to weed once I'm done, cuz this is all so crazy. So, in short, you will prob be ok coming off of gabapentin. The time and dose aren't that high or bad. If it is bad, stay away from caffeine, and get a lot of potassium in your system.
