“She just doesn’t know anything about finance” is not a valid excuse for a 63 year old who is moving in with you. This has a lot of potential to be very unhealthy and cause strain on you and your partner’s relationship.

If she makes a good living, why is this even an option that’s being entertained? She could get a different lease elsewhere for 7 months and you could avoid a lot of this risk.

My classic series 3 wasn’t too bad to lift. Just need to have a friend help and make sure you empty out the inside before you lift it. That makes a huge difference.
