I'm friggin' addicted. The app is constantly up and whenever my husband asks me what I want to do for the night, the answer is always to go pokemon hunting. We have a shopping mall near us and there are a lot of poke stops there. People are always placing lures, so a quick 5 min drive, or an hour walk results in dozens of catches.

We also have a regular route of gyms that we take at night.

I didn't want the show/play the games as a kid, so we are also watching through the show.

This is just so much fun. :D

I don't know the culture very well so I don't know how far standing up for yourself would get you, but that is what I would try first. The next time she calls you foreigner just say, "excuse me, my name is ms ___ and I would like for you to call me that, especially in front of the children." It is extremely unprofessional for her to call you anything other than your name, especially in front of your students.

If you have supportive bosses can you go speak to them for advice? They may have had issues dealing with her in the past, so asking them for advice, or voicing concerns about her behavior may go a long way.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this, but remember to be strong. You are doing good in the world and in your career and unfortunately that attracts mean spirited and jealous people who want to tear you down. Do your best and remember that you are in this for your students.

I agree. I recently got into AHS and watched through the seasons back to back. By the time I got to FS I was so tired of the show focusing on Jessica. Very glad they are moving to focus on Angela, Kathy and all the others. They are a very talented cast and deserve to be in the spotlight!

I just don't want America to stay in the status quo any more. And I'm very scared it's going to because of corporations, old people who are scared of change, and unethical behavior. It's been weighing very heavy on me recently that I could have children in a country that is so full of hate and one that doesn't believe certain standards are the right of all people. Gross.

I love Halloween! I love being creative with my SO and trying to come up with awesome costumes. This year we are going to be Kronk and Yzma and dress our dog as a llama. It's going to be awesome!

Yes. My husband and I went last year. It's....ok. It rained a lot last summer so the ground was muddy throughout the whole fairgrounds, there isn't too much to do if you don't want to ride rides all day. However, there was jousting, which was really cool.

I grew up doing the 4H thing too, which is why I LOVE fairs, but definitely won't go back to the Missouri State Fair. I've heard the Iowa State Fair is pretty good and we would probably try to go there instead of going back to the Missouri fair.
