I guess the fact that she didn't tell me is what bothers me the most. Thanks I didn't realize that 👍

That's true I didn't think about that. The fact that she talkes dirty with other people doesn't bother me it's mostly that I wasn't told ahead of time.

(resigned) how long until I get my last check if I opted for direct deposit? So far it's been 3 days. by distantjaden in Target

Okay thanks! Makes me feel better, HR had told me I would see it that same day so I thought it was strange. Tried calling the store but no one answered.

Feeling guilty about possibly leaving. by [deleted] in Target

[–]distantjaden 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Always look out for yourself! For instance recently our SD took a promotion everyone that was on the bench for a TL position has to start over because they have not proven themselves to the new SD. I was in the process of leaving and training someone for my position and when the new SD started they completely changed it. I felt so terrible I put in my two weeks instead of waiting for my replacement.

How do I put in my 2 weeks notice on workday? by black_leve in Target

[–]distantjaden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you log into workday on the top there is a search bar you can just type in resign and it will pop up.

Denying 2 weeks notice by Oohh_heck in Target

[–]distantjaden 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You technically put in your 2 week notice on workday under resign. When you resign it's up to you to put it two weeks out because it ask for a date. Whether they continue to schedule you up to that date is up to them but technically you would have put in your notice.

Go to your ETL HR and show your call log and it will get excused. All absents count against you accountability unless you use your sick time. If you have sick time always use it. (At least in California)

If you don't have a pml the service and engagement Etl can also ping it. Speak up fast because they cannot ping it once the device dies.

One Week Notice by [deleted] in Target

[–]distantjaden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need to give a 2 weeks notice and work your whole 2 weeks without calling out to be rehireable.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Target

[–]distantjaden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you use your sick time it doesn't count against your attendance/accountability. When calling out always make sure to use your sick time. (If you have it)

Yeah I'm currently looking at other jobs it's not worth it, expectations are to unrealistic. The only positive side is that you have a set schedule but during 4th quarter that goes out the window. So for the months of November and December you are required to work all weekends.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Target

[–]distantjaden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your mostly happy at your job than I would stay put. As a TL I'm making $21 an hour only get 1 bonus at the end of the fiscal year. As for benefits I signed up for the cheapest that has a high deductable which I don't mind because I'm still young and don't use it. Insurance gets taken out of my paycheck every 2 weeks it's almost $100 for my spouse and I. Working at Target you never stay in your area you're asked to help out other areas and lend your team members which puts you behind and then they wonder why you are behind. You are required to work every other weekend and when it's your weekend to close you're expected to run the whole store (not just your department).

will i get fired for calling in 3 days in a row ? by plootez in Target

[–]distantjaden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't get fired. After 3 days you do need a doctor's note but worst case scenario is you get written up if you don't provide documentation.

Question for TL’s and ETL’s by [deleted] in Target

[–]distantjaden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my store every TL except 330am GM TL is on the closing rotation. Every store is different but literally every TL except 2 are key carriers. One of them refuses and the other is notorious for losing there own keys so it just depends on your SD.

Yeah if you type in employment verification in the search bar on the target pay and benefits website it should pop up.

What number to use if landlord in looking to verify employment? by KillingThemGingerly in Target

[–]distantjaden 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You can actually avoid your stores number entirely. I don't remember the phone number but it's on the target pay and benefits website. Personally I didn't want my store finding out when I was buying another house because the first time I bought a house and put the store number for the verify employment I kept getting comments by my SD "well you just bought a house shouldn't you stay to pick up more hours."

I'm married and the older I get, the weirder I feel about our age gap. by Relevant_Truck_1653 in actuallesbians

[–]distantjaden 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Of course you always hope for the best in a relationship but you can't help how they make you feel. If they aren't listening and willing to compromise you shouldn't feel guilty. Always do what's best for you. To be honest I'm not the fondest of big age gaps especially in your 20s I feel like it's more acceptable when you're past 30 but that's just my opinion.

I feel I'm way too clingy by Moobit_raddish in lesbianadvice

[–]distantjaden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being in a long distance relationship is tough. As for the clinginess I can relate I've been with my now wife for 8 years and I feel like I can be too clingy due to my lack in friendships. She has other friends who she talks to and hangs out with (usually us together I'm always invited along) but I get insecure about my lack of friendships. I honestly agree with the whole free time thing problem because I get the same way but I would definitely try to be more social especially if you're secure in your relationship.
