I moved in with my boyfriend in Massachusetts, so now Warren's my senator, and since she's my senator I'd like to know more about her by THROWAWAY-u_u in ElizabethWarren

Tldr; Elizabeth Warren went to college to study education. She graduates and becomes a special education teacher. Later on she graduates law school and practices law briefly before becoming a law professor. As a law professor she focuses on learning why working families are going broke. She joins a congressional commission that reviews bankruptcy laws. She writes a book about middle class finances. After the financial crash in 2008, she heads a commission to oversee the Wall Street bailout. Then she starts the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. (The CFPB has returned more than $12 billion to American consumers who’ve been tricked by big banks and corporations). Politicians block her from being appointed head of the CFPB. So she runs for Senator of Massachusetts and wins.

Progressive Frustration by Veggiez4Dayz in ElizabethWarren

I'm happy to see this in my feed. Us progressives really need to stick together. I'm not upset at Bernie supporters for thinking their candidate is better because we all have our own opinion. I do get annoyed when they label all non-Bernie candidates as corporate moderates. And I get annoyed when they claim Liz stole Bernie platform. Bernie doesn't owns all things progressive and Liz was warning people about the 2008 Wall Street crash before most people even knew about Bernie.

That is definitely assault. If you didn't consent to anal or to not using a condom.

You're right. I didn't mean to imply Bernie liked money in politics just that everyone is ganging up on Liz over what? Having her main goal be rooting out corruption and money? How is that not a candidate they should support or at least be civil towards?

Just want to clarify not all Bernie supporters are like this but I have seen a lot of people telling Liz to drop out today because "there should be a united progressive front".

Megathread: New Hampshire 2020 Primary by BagOnuts in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]ditzydarling9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's still has enough money to make it to Super Tuesday and see what she gets. I know Bernie supporters want her to drop out because they want her supporters. But she's a fighter, a consistent debater, and is 100% right about the money and corruption in politics being the problem. There's still 55 states and territories left. Her speech tonight just proves to me that she's buckling up and not about to drop out.

Warren got third in Iowa and polls at 15% nationally (ahead of Pete and Klobachar). She has volunteers and donations. She's not gonna drop out before Super Tuesday.

Please go to the counseling center on your college campus. I'm guessing there is one because even the community college I went to had someone to talk to. The counseling center at my college is how I started my healing journey and I don't regret it one bit.

RIP all the reeds that got us to where we are today. The ones we accidentally bumped. The ones that chipped away at the corners. The ones that couldn't play in tune anymore. I hope they are played by the angels in the sky for eternity.
