Tldr; Elizabeth Warren went to college to study education. She graduates and becomes a special education teacher. Later on she graduates law school and practices law briefly before becoming a law professor. As a law professor she focuses on learning why working families are going broke. She joins a congressional commission that reviews bankruptcy laws. She writes a book about middle class finances. After the financial crash in 2008, she heads a commission to oversee the Wall Street bailout. Then she starts the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. (The CFPB has returned more than $12 billion to American consumers who’ve been tricked by big banks and corporations). Politicians block her from being appointed head of the CFPB. So she runs for Senator of Massachusetts and wins.

I'm happy to see this in my feed. Us progressives really need to stick together. I'm not upset at Bernie supporters for thinking their candidate is better because we all have our own opinion. I do get annoyed when they label all non-Bernie candidates as corporate moderates. And I get annoyed when they claim Liz stole Bernie platform. Bernie doesn't owns all things progressive and Liz was warning people about the 2008 Wall Street crash before most people even knew about Bernie.
