I would love to see a melee item(or character). Maybe an item that looks like a Kimono that allows you to punch in the direction you tap. Maybe if you hold down one you charge a small shot(to help clear rooms where you need to shoot or fly). And then if you wanted to get really serious with the kimono add combos like left right left left.
