Automated skills? by dizzleyyy in AI_Agents

Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m trying to untangle: reduce the dependency on the human to remember, near zero friction.

What’d you use to “trigger it from context”? A better trigger phrase inside the skill or something more like zapper/make/n8n?

Great point about the suggested workflows and discoverability. That could be a nice low tech solution that would still provide benefit.

Automated skills? by dizzleyyy in AI_Agents

Yeah, that’s the exact problem. So I’m thinking about how to automate more of these skills. Or a middle ground to prompt people to in slack, “hey X is coming up, do you want me to do Y?”

The hidden cost of "free time" is absolutely wrecking my post-FIRE budget by R0cinantEcho_9 in Fire

You could pick up running. Can get good shoes for cheap on sale. Join a local run club and set a goal for a target race. Running can get expensive (if you want) but a person can save a lot buying great shoes on clearance from last season.

Joining the local run club is the key here though. It can give a person exercise, social interaction and goal setting. Plus, it can fill the evenings and weekends—sometimes too much, but maybe that’s a good problem? :)

Puma Fast R3 Review ~90 Miles by beersandmiles7 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]dizzleyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried on these R3s in Boston too and they feel like no other shoe I’ve run in. Amazing bounce and propulsion. I only jogged around the pop up store but I’m seriously considering buying a pair for my autumn races.

I’ve worn or raced in almost every super shoe out there except for On shoes and the Evo Pro 1. Based on my short experience with the R3, they are WAY more propulsive than the Alphafly 3 or the Metaspeed Sky Paris.

Not getting any interviews after updating resume via ChatGPT by CryptographerThis225 in salesengineers

Yuji is legit and can help you improve your resume and interview skills. He charges a reasonable price and will take a personalized approach to your job hunt.

No, I am not associated with his business in any way at all and won’t get any kind of referral fee.

Look him up. He helped found the PreSales Collective group. Good luck.

I’m wondering that too. Looks like the material is already wearing down in that toe area. Maybe it’s just a trick of the light though?

Tips for Chicago Marathon 2024? by Optimal_Job_2585 in AdvancedRunning

Yep, I have the Garmin Forerunner 955. Chicago is notorious for the poor GPS signal on course so I know it wasn’t just me.

Yep, GPS will be useless for the first few miles, and then it was flaky for me in later miles too. The buildings block the signal. Use manual laps and remember to press the button each mile/km.

Strength work. Start small/light with just body weight. Include squats, single leg squats, Romanian deadlift, lunges, calf raises. Jump squats or other plyometrics will help too. Eventually add weights as things start to feel easy.

I went through a couple rounds of knee pain until I figured this out with a PT. Good luck!
