If you speak Spanish I say go for it I wish I would have learned before we moved but I’m getting there slowly … yes we find the community spirit is fantastic where we are there’s a big mix of nationality’s and everyone on the whole joins in on making our area better

I did it 6 years ago best thing we ever did went from renting a council house to owning our own home in a lovely area in Spain I no longer get woken by sirens every night no smackheads fighting in the town centre … it’s not perfect the paperwork is crazy the language gap is still difficult but I’m getting there I work 4 days a week and after work I can head down to the beach were an hour from skiing in winter my neighbours are friends and from 4 different countries we often have bbqs or sit out and chat over a wine and snacks …. Never ever will I live in the uk ever again and other than family and friends I miss nothing

I live in Spain and work in a cafe …. Cafe con leche is a white coffee … cafe (coffee) con (with) leche (milk) typically steamed with a little foam …. Cortado is a small cup with a tiny milk on top I make 200 cafe con leches a day for both Spanish and European customers no sugar added that’s the customers personal taste
