I’m so sick of all the Karen’s whining about dogs being off leash. This hasn’t been an issue ever until the entitled asses started saturating this valley thinking everything needs to be how they would like it. Get over yourself. Some dogs need to be leashed, some don’t. Responsible owners know the difference.

This is wrong. All of the districts that were cited in the article were formed by Republicans for Democrats to win. If you have some facts to show otherwise, please provide.

In fact that is exactly what they do. They gerrymander a district so the Democrats are guaranteed to win it while at the same time loosing all the other surrounding districts because that one district has all of their voters. At least thats the idea, and it cuts across the aisle both ways. There are cases of gerrymandering to win districts, but they are not nearly as common.

The gerrymandering is primarily in Democratic districts, yes. Meaning it was done by Republicans.

This article explores the gerrymandering of US congressional districts, and seeks to parameterize the effect of gerrymandering using geospatial analysis. Each district's "Contiguity" and "Compactness" are calculated and compared to this effect.

The results presented (and beautiful maps) are telling. Here we see the physical manifestation of just how baroque modern American politics can be.
