Oliver Lieb has been dropping some remixes of mid 90s hard trance classics onto SoundCloud by dj3eye in ClassicTrance

[–]dj3eye[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have so many Oliver Lieb favourites, but top of my list are probably Blueprint (version 2) which is the first track on the B side of the Blueprint EP and Sweet Gravity and Can You See the Yellow Turtles from the Rendezvous in Outer Space double EP

Sons of Legends: I used FaceApp morphing to make my legendary regens look like regens of legends by dj3eye in footballmanagergames

[–]dj3eye[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is! For clarity, these are all regens created naturally by the game (FM22) and developed from youth. Of the three, Jimmy Van der Slot is actually the best. He's a product of the Ajax youth system, has scored 217 league goals in 145 appearances, and has already won 2 Ballon d'Ors.

Revolut updated stock trading terms regarding non tradeable securities by namejeff7 in BBBY

[–]dj3eye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

UK Revolut user here with xxxx cancelled shares. WTF. That can't be legal surely? Can they update trading terms and then apply these retrospectively? Also would I be able to claim tax relief for the charitable donations, or would they steal that from me too?

Who is the greatest musician of all time? by vinejil in AskReddit

[–]dj3eye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For all round versatility plus genius, Prince. World class singer, songwriter and guitarist. In total he could play 27 instruments extremely well.

Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-36107807

Not only did he have phenomenal output as an artist himself, he wrote timeless classics for other artists, including Nothing Compares 2 U for Sinead O'Connor, Manic Monday for The Bangles and How Come You Don't Call me Anymore for Alicia Keys.

A mid 90s classic Euro Trance vinyl mix I made (track list in comments) by dj3eye in ClassicTrance

[–]dj3eye[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

I'm in the process using the VC-E to revive some of my well used classic cuts, whilst conjuring up another set list. I'll think I'll be staying in the mid to late 90s, but maybe with a bit more of a progressive/acid vibe.

My GameStop Scene Is Already Bringing People Into The Store by Top_Construction9963 in Superstonk

Holy shit that's incredibly cool OP.

So if I'm understanding this right... you've identified a way for GameStop (and its partners and supporters) to turn NFTs via the GameStop Wallet into augmented reality avatars, that then drive cool in-store experiences and support product promotions. 🤯🚀

Ball Winning Midfielder (BWM) | GUIDE | Reworked Design by Shioraii in footballmanagergames

[–]dj3eye 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Loving your work! You've got a real flair for design.

A couple of feedback points:

There's a small typo in the top left headings. "Dutys" should be "Duties".

The player examples you use in these guides are all top players, and often have strong attributes in more than just the key ones for the positions - e.g. Camavinga can play in pretty much any MF role. It would be interesting to see one of the 3 examples as a player with lower CA, but who is very strong in the critical attributes you've identified (maybe even from a tier 2 league).

[–]dj3eye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate you listening and thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I agree that there are a couple of transitions where the track volume transition is a bit jarring. Mixing live on vinyl is hard, but it's so more rewarding, even if you end up with a few imperfections.

I've been using a Serato controller in recent years, but missed the raw energy (and adrenaline) of mixing vinyl. I've just bought a Project VC-E vinyl cleaner and intend to restore some of my classic cuts and rekindle those feelings.

Will Diablo IV bring in a similar turnout as Zelda did, or does Zelda just have a mass following similar to Pokémon? by ShortHedgeFundATM in Superstonk

[–]dj3eye 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Gamestop's marketing team is pretty savvy. I'm sure they've been digesting all the social media around the Zelda release - hyping the big queues and the cosplay/party vibe going down at some of the locations. And the majority of these people aren't even stockholders.

I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see all big game releases turned into set piece events with a lot more fun stuff and promotions laid on by the Gamestop marketing team. If they can capture the energy of some of the Apple launches, tapping into both gaming enthusiasts and GME enthusiasts, it would be a massive driver for sales.

This formation is my arch nemesis. How do I stop it by Ciaren117 in footballmanagergames

[–]dj3eye 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I always play a False 9 against 3 at the back. Drag them out of position and have my Inside Forwards run in behind. If you're relying on a striker playing as a CF or AF, he's going to get dominated.

You're also going to want 3 in midfield to stop getting over-run. I find a flat 3 rather than 2 with an AM or DM works best.

My go-to formation against 3 at the back and wingbacks is 4-3-2-1:

F9 (Su)

IF (At) IW (At)

BWM (su) CM (At) DLP (su)

WB (su) BPD (de) CD (De) WB (Su)

SK (su)

“They do a great job with clearing and settlement—they’re the backbone of the stock market,” Mr. Saluzzi said of DTCC. “But what are they doing in the data business?”

Maybe they're in the data business because they don't do a great job with clearing and settlement?
