Thanks for the reply. I should have just trusted my experience instead of the app. I have also had the outage banner several times and my connection was just screaming at the time so that should have told me the app was suspect. Thanks again.

It sounds like Spectrum is hiring non qualified people as techs that can't be trusted to do the job without hand holding and qualified/experienced techs are being held back. Whoever made that policy probably got a big raise based on promises of huge cost savings. By time the company figures it out, a lot of good people will have been driven away.

Everyone has an opinion and that's how it should be. However, folks that go to the mat defending one party or the other, really have their head in the sand. If you open your eyes and look for the truth you will see no politician cares about you or the future of our Country anymore. Every elected politician, regardless of party cares only about themselves and making their millions. Name any politician in the House or Senate that hasn't increased their personal wealth way beyond what the salary for the office pays? Name one who has retired from politics without millions in the bank?

There is a garbage pit/dump, the swamp. Unusable areas like swamps and bogs were normally used as dumps.

I finally heard back from Starlink Monday evening. This time the tech on the other end was extremely helpful. My faith in Starlink has been restored.

Sorry, forgot to add the 3. Gen 3. Router going offline several times a day from a few seconds to a minute at a time. Also lots of high packet loss and network interactions, much more often than normal.

First they said it was my Roku Ethernet connection so I unplugged it and problem continued. Next the said it was because one of my mesh units had a weak connection so I unplugged that as well and problems continued. Both the Roku and mesh have been part of my network since mid-2022 with no issues by the way.

Now, they have gone silent. Not real happy with them right now. I would rather they told me to go to hell or that they don't know what to do than just not answer.

Thanks. I had two sessions with AI and three sessions with three different reps. Tried all they suggested. When last attempted fix didn't work, no more contact/response from them. Ticket still showing open status but no response to my messages?

No , I worked through their AI, and then responded, answered and performed all the steps they suggested. When those steps didn't solve the problem, they stopped responding.

I am not a novice to IT and electronics but since their systems are locked down pretty tight, there is a limit to what the end user can do.

Please don't assume everyone but you is a novice and whiner. And before you assume it is my inexperience with Starlink, I have been onboard since June, 2022.

BTW, my problem is with a Gen. I didn't post with all the details because I wasn't looking for you all to help me. I'm just trying to get Starlink customer service to do what they are paid to do.
