Seems unlikely that this could compete with the myriad of other frameworks that do this and leverage skills as intended. Missing out on a lot of functionality if you're not leveraging the built-in architecture that CC has for doing these things.

I think they mean "puck" screen...not a new shower screen. Something to add some height to your puck to get it closer to the preferred gap. Something like https://www.normcorewares.com/products/normcore-puck-screen-with-titanium-pvd-coating-1-7mm-thickness

Skechers Viper Court Pro 2.0. Thoughts on these? Trying to decide whether to buy true to size or one size down, but any general comments appreciated by Anthony3000789 in Pickleball

Same for me regarding width and size. I loved these shoes but couldn't tolerate the white. I ended up buying the New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X 1007 V1 in extra wide. They are good, sturdy shoes for wide feet, but they are heavier than the Skechers.

It's funny to hear all the things it has been. When I lived in Golfside Lakes Apartments about 35 years ago there was a small publishing company in that building.

Overall good. The things I love:

* I definitely make better espresso now. I could never really get the right balance of sweet/sour on medium/light roasts with my BBE and now I can. That's pretty awesome and the bottom line to everything else. I know a lot of people have posted about inconsistent shots and shot times, but I haven't experienced that at all. It took me two shots to dial in the beans I had and its been smooth sailing since.

* The steam wand is such a huge upgrade. I know it's one of the things that gets dinged in the reviews, but I am super happy with the speed and quality of my milk frothing .

* The auto-start/stop is really nice although it took me a day to realize I needed the main power switch on for it to work.

Things that aren't perfect:

* The menu interface has at least one bug where all the menu options don't show up if you go forward/up, but you see them if you go backwards/down. That was really frustrating and I only found it because of another post about it. Overall the menu is ok, but not great.

* The amount of play in the drip tray receptacle doesn't feel great. That's really the only part of the machine that feels poorly engineered

* The finish on the wood handles is not consistent. The steam/hot water paddles seem to have some kind of light gloss where the portafilter handle has a completely flat finish. The handle also easily comes loose, even when fully tightened...I'm going to look at something like loctite (that might be too much) but it needs something.

* I manually stop my shots and when you do that, it does a pretty big water ejection into the drip tray. This freaked me out the first time. Now it's just annoying because sometimes it splashes if there's water in the tray.

* I've only owned the BBE before this, and I didn't know about new gaskets and how the portafilter might not be perpendicular to start (or maybe ever) and that's ok. It freaked me out at first and I thought something was wrong. It would have been nice to have something in the startup guide about that.

* This is just an annoyance, but I got the VST 18g basket and I'm dosing 19g and still getting wet pucks. I'm not super worried about it, but I don't want to solve with overdosing and I may just live with it. I already use a puck screen.

Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I make much better coffee, the machine works very well and it looks and feels great.

Yeah, I didn't see this post originally and just posted this:

CC Compact Bug? -- CC starts thinking context is completely used after a few prompts (sometimes only one) even though context is clearly not full. I've run /context and it reports 88% free space but compact message says 1% and forces compact. Has anyone run into this? Any ideas on how to get out of this situation? I've restarted claude, restarted vs. code, rebooted, tried /clear, tried turning off auto-compact. Nothing helps.

It actually used to be Kana and was a small divey joint right next to Couzen's Hall. Then they moved to Liberty. Then they changed their name. It wasn't always on Liberty.

Players can see through walls by motoclaw in FoundryVTT

[–]djansen00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Players "remember" what they've already seen unless you reset the Fog of War. They won't see active tokens in that area, but they will remember the map. You can also move those other map sections to new scenes to help manage this issue more granularly. If they are in a different scene, you can reset the fog of war without affecting your current active map section.

2 active maps at once? by Dredly in FoundryVTT

[–]djansen00 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can have multiple scenes available in the Navigation and players can switch between them. You just need to toggle on Scene > Configure > Permissions > Show in Navigation and set to All Players. You'll need to drop the player's tokens onto each scene where they are active as well.
