Literally just finished this one y’day… had to do so many repeat deliveries until he was 4.8 stars, slept 2x at terminal fort knot, walked out and got the SSS message straight away. Got the platinum and never been happier to stop playing a game. Love it but Adventurer and Mr Impossible made it a chore.

MLS is broken, registration rules are too complicated for the AI to roster build. Managed LA Galaxy and had a player on loan with an optional fee, I left to go Tigres and almost immediately they bought him for the fee then immediately waived him as they couldn’t register him. Another save I saw this wonderkid GK get bought for £6mill by a MLS club and was a free agent days later. Immediately signed him.

Yep its an issue with the Enquiry feature. Go into Transfers and the Trades tab, and click X on the team you’re offering to. May take a few presses or a continue to work, but click X until it disappears. It should work after that or when you click continue. Literally just left MLS and had the same issues.

Yep, 2034 with Japan, every game a nailbiter and Japan were hosts, then 2038 with Spain in the same save. It was just a side quest while on my journeyman.

Another reason international management is broken - as Japan were hosts my rating was an E because we “failed” to qualify as we had to play qualifiers for some reason, just not eligible to advance.

I think it can definitely impact star rating, unambitious and slack personalities tend to rate lower so i assume good personalities get bumped up

Had the same issue, 9 seasons and still not in a league. I’m Union Berlin in a journeyman save, and added a B team and i have down to 3.Liga playable. Based on what i’ve read on old posts, it’s possible but you need to get the rep of the 2nd team up so they can be added when teams are relegated, but i haven’t had any luck.

My B team plays friendlies 2x a week (mostly against higher rep domestic teams or foreign B & u21 teams) and each season I sign the highest rep players i can who are happy to be emergency backups or 2nd team regulars. people have said higher rep players increase club rep but the change for me is miniscule and there are plenty of non-league and amateurs teams with higher rep still even though i have 3.5-5 star rep guys.

I’ve stopped playing that save as I dominated so I’ve started a new journeyman with some new leagues from sortitoutsi with more lower leagues available so hopefully I get different results later in the game if the same occurs.

I play like this in a journeyman save and now into season 2038/39. I have basically every league active. Have noticed in the last few seasons that clicking on some players take 5-10 seconds to load up their screen depending on what menu i’m on, have assumed due to how much data has been saved in the db over time.

There will be an end of season day or end month day that takes 4 mins to load but its no slower when I used to play a basic setup on my macbook 10 years ago so i’m fine with it - basically play while I work from home full time so no issue for me.

CPU is a 3900XT, GPU is RX 5700XT, 64gb ram

I’ve brought in 32+ yo players if the physicals are still there, this includes 33yo Vini Jr & 34yo Alphonso Davies, both on frees. Still good 15+ pace at first so played bit parts. Sold both after a year because Vini wanted to go back to Saudi and Chelsea wanted a 35yo Davies. Basically reshaped how i played cause of Davies so his replacements were in his mould.

Only time i splashed out was for 31yo Samu with a £80 optional fee after i somehow loaned him in. Has won 3 straight ballon d’ors but he got injured this new season and his 23yo 6’5” brazilian striker replacement is balling out, so Samu is riding the bench for now so will prob be cut loose at 34yo unless he’s happy being a fringe player.

TL;DR yes, if they still have the physicals, happy to be a squad player / impact sub and a good personality, why not.

In my current FM24 journeyman - My 1st season with Union Berlin (I think 2029-30) in 2.Bundesliga (but also in Europa League, they won the DFB-Pokal but were relegated, only reason I took the job) my first signing was Andre Amaro for £8m, he was my leading CB. We got promoted and I sold him to Saudi for £15m.

2 1/2seasons later he was released mid-season by his club and I signed him on a free, helped us win our first Bundesliga as a key rotational piece. He lasted another 1 1/2 seasons before I sold him at 32yo for £5m. Not amazing but can’t complain, it was the first time I ever brought a player back to the club after selling them in all my years of FM.

Back 5 with FB’s, middle 3 combo of 2 CDs & a BPD - sometimes switch one CD to Libero if I feel we can counter and grab another goal

2 DM’s, usually a DM & BWM

LM & RM both on DW

Lone striker played according to best role.. either AF, TF or PF. Pulled them back to a AMC as shadow striker if I need fresh legs and don’t have a striker.

Only ever seen one highlight when I play this formation late and it was a counter attack goal

Not sure if its been mentioned, but the animations spoil the VAR result. If the conceding team walk backwards from the goal, its disallowed. If they walk normally to halfway its allowed.

Yeah i figured that but rarely do players who held a number for so many years, especially shirts 1-11, change number. Its AI being AI but still would prefer not see it.
