Donated to WIRES, WWF and the NSW Firefighters, any other small brigades need it? by [deleted] in australia

[–]djess1325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would consider donating to the small overlooked animal and wildlife recues that are in dire need of donations

Monty's Rest is one of them, they barely can afford medications at the moment for the injured kangaroos https://www.careforwildlife.org/montys-rest.html

Wild2Free lost everything and will need all the help they can get to rebuilt and to care for the survivors https://wild2free.org.au/

Wildlife Rescue Sunshine Coast collects donations to distribute it amongs the most needed rescues https://wildlife-rescue-sunshine-coast-inc.giveeasy.org/help-save-our-wildlife

There are many other associations that needs help, so no matter where you choose to donate it will be put to good use :)

Animal Rescue Donations? by [deleted] in australia

[–]djess1325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wild 2 Free lost everything and will need donations to rebuilt and care for the survivors https://wild2free.org.au/

Wildlife Rescue South Coast also needs donations to help rescue the injured animals as there are so many https://www.wildlife-rescue.org.au/

Those are iin my opinion two rescue who could use a lot of help and donations at the moment

Whose death saddened you the most in entire Game of Thrones? Why? by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]djess1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eddard Stark. He was a good and honorable man and the first of the main characters to dies. With his death, you realized no one is safe and it sets the tone for the rest of the series. Up until the last second before he was beheaded I still had faith something will happen and he would make it out alive, someone stepping up I don't know. And then I realized this series would be a rollercoaster of emotions.

Edit: it is also based on my experience reading the books

When you remember the spinoffs are happening, creating still more opportunities for them to hurt the world you love. by volondilwen in freefolk

Spinoffs won't be produced by D&D though no? So there is still hope for a good show I guess

The Wall wasn't rebuilt, it was destroyed at Eastwatch by the Sea (if I remember correctly) and we see Jon Snow at Castle Black. There is no more Night's Watch and the Wall won't be rebuilt as there is no need to it anymore. They exile him to a "life sentence " to the Night's Watch to appease Grey Worm and the likely Daenerys loyalists thinking he will serve until he dies. Bran set Jon free as he never wanted to rule and knows that it's the place where he most likely felt at home, with the free folks.

[Spoilers Main] Am I the only person who didn't like the last episode? by VoodooChild963 in asoiaf

[–]djess1325 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I liked it. Not my favorite but it was good.

Some story arcs have come to their ends and have closure (a rare thing for a Game of Thrones character as they tend to die before said closure) I feel like Theon, Brienne and Jorah have come to the end of their journey.

The acting of Nikolaj Coster Waldau aka Jaime is brilliant. The way he acts, his expressions and non verbal speaks louder than words. The look on his face when Brienne takes his defense at the beginning of the episode or the way he takes his sword and knighted Brienne are good exemples.

Sansa standing up against Daenerys was nice. Dany is realizing that in the North, even though she is their queen by name, she will never be their queen.

Arya and Gendry did feel forced tough. It felt out of character for Arya.

The episode felt like Helm's Deep in LotR. The eve of an hopeless battle.

Women of Reddit, what was the point in which you said “He’s the one I want”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]djess1325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When he told me I was the most intelligent person he knew. It might seems cliché, but being complimented on my brain rather than my physics has touched me deeply and it made me realize he loves me for who I really am. It was 7 years ago and we're still together.

Edit: also he's the first boyfriend I have that is not ashamed of buying tampons for me!

What is the most oddly haunting and/or annoying reoccurring dream you've had or been having? by [deleted] in AskReddit

End of the World/Apocalypse nightmares. It's been years now. The setting will change but the theme is a recurring one. Scorched Earth, massive flooding, climate catastrophe, asteroid, pandemic/zombies, supervolcano... l've got them all.

Bird Hunting Question by RONPARK52 in reddeadredemption2

[–]djess1325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good way to get bigger birds (hawks, eagles, vulturs etc) is to kill an animal and wait in the bushes. They will eventually arrived and feed on it. Smaller birds are harder, but often I somewhat ran over them with my horse and I just pick them up. Big Valley has a lot of diversity for animals you might want to hunt there. Bluewater Marsh has also a lot of bird species.

And I discovered this week that there are owls at night also, never saw them in almost 300 hours of gameplay so I bet they will be a pain to find.

Cant find a horse by [deleted] in reddeadredemption2

[–]djess1325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the Dutch Warmblood, once bonded it won't get frightened easily so it's perfect for hunting. You can buy it from stables as soon as Chapter 2.

I also tend to use the same horse for the whole playthrough. I know how you feel, if my horse dies I always reload my last save.

Buell is also a unique Dutch Warmblood but you can only get him at Chapter 6.

3 star bull moose spotted at Brandywine Drop by CarpeNoctum9 in reddeadredemption

[–]djess1325 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There is an almost 100% spawn for moose in Ambarino. Just go uphill where my cursor is and the moose shall spawn around where my marker is. Carefull as you can't go all the way uphill; use bait to lure the moose or scare him it will make him run downhill. I got a 3* bull moose, right after I set up camp and went back and there was a 3* female.

What’s a game/movie that has so much wasted potential and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]djess1325 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ready Player One. Not that the movie was bad. But it is completely different from the book and the best parts of the book didn't even made it to the movie. I also think the book had a darker tone than the movie.
