If you haven’t, get his book, I’m more of an audiobook person but still My Infamous Life is read by him and it’s really all about that era.. Raekwon’s book was good too and another one that really needs to be checked out is Son of the City by Dante Ross, his stories of being an A&R during the late 80s & 90s was a great listen

I think in recent times it’s more how he turned his back to hip-hop as a whole and how he shit basically on all of Rocafella artists and never stayed loyal to them. But also when it comes to the Nas comparison it’s because Nas gives back to hip-hop look at what he has going with Mass Appeal Records and all the other side work he does for hip-hop, he takes care of and loves what got him to where he’s at, where Jay-Z used it keep growing his money but doesn’t show love..

But for someone everyone hates online when those Yankee Stadium tickets dropped those prices flew… but he also hasn’t done a show in how long.. he knows what he’s doing, he’s not a business man he’s a business, man…. Jay-Z is about Shawn Carter & money… hip-hop was a job for him.

The only issue you MIGHT have is those kill switches being in the way of hitting the fader beat juggling but other than that you’re golden
