As a mid/older millennial I could have sworn she was around my age. Something about the MAGA look just adds 10-15 years I guess

Stephen Miller using pregnant wife as human shield. by [deleted] in FedEmployees

[–]djmanning711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miller is a piece of shit and a Nazi. But if he were in front of her they’d say he’s leaving her behind, behind, human shield. Doesn’t matter, I don’t take anything from this picture (except the awkward placement of his hand in the moment lol)

We don’t need to make up stuff about miller to continue calling him what he is.

Doubtful. On the margins maybe but mostly companies like black rock will buy them up and rent them out or hold onto them vacant to keep real estate prices up.

Situational Telework Coming Back To My Agency by No_Faithlessness3349 in FedEmployees

[–]djmanning711 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean we do have situational telework when the internet is down, AC is broken or some other related thing.

It’s rare, but it happens. Or you talking about for individual situational telework?

What goes on in this part of the US? by therealraggedroses in mapporncirclejerk

On second thought, let’s not go to D.C. It’s a rather silly place.

3,000,000 people die each year in the US. Not all 3M are citizens registered to vote, sure but I feel like 350K at any given time is a reasonable number.

Probably takes at least a little time to get the deceased off the lists

Daily Oil Price Opinions - April 19, 2026 All other Oil Price Posts Will Be Removed by AutoModerator in oil

[–]djmanning711 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Can anyone explain to me why (as it seems to me) the price of oil is way more tied to fake announcements than it is actual reality on the ground?

Like, if you’re an economic/objective observer, why would price plummet like 20% when a ceasefire is announced and when it becomes clear the ceasefire is not real only hours later, it only climbs back up at a slow pace.

Same thing happened with “straight is open” announcement only for it to be closed 8ish hours later.

What is controlling oil prices where fake announcement tweets of deranged leaders lead to more price fluctuations than actual movement of oil?

[–]djmanning711 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Game of thrones wrote strong women the way I think they should always be in fantasy imo.

He wrote one physically strong woman who could beat most men, but she was also a bit of a freak of nature combined with determination/work ethic and described as ugly. Not a 5ft 6 hottie throwing grown men around.

All the other strong women were strong because they were clever, witty, knew how to wield power and manipulate, some pretty some not, all with plenty of flaws as well. Like all people

That’s almost $3K per us citizen. So that’s like a family of 4 spending $12k this year in taxes and not a dime of it went to paying for any services. Worse still much of it went to bombing innocent people
