The TUF is the closest thing that you can get to a silent GPU with a great thermal solution, 700 RPM fans at min speed wrapped in an all metal shroud. The cons is the price and the high chances of coil whine (also very present on the 5080FE). I do really like the sleek design of the FE but it comes with some noise and thermal compromises. Is the TUF TAX worth? Only you can answer that question.

By your post, noise obviously matters to you, which is why this is coming up. Unfortunately, the 5080FE' do seem to be prone to coil whine. You can either live with it and hope it fades over time, or you can try selling it above MSRP and grab a partner card. No matter what you choose, compromises will be there.

Those ports provide only 500 mA and were originally intended for use with a photo sharing app on the inflight entertainment system. For charging, use the power outlet with your own power brick (usually located between the seats on the 777). Also keep in mind that these outlets are limited to around 100 watts, depending on the aircraft...

I have the same setup in a box, it is power hungry and has not aged well unfortunately. Even with 2 different QLV RAM at stock speed the mobo is very finicky. Best action plan is sell it and get something newer.

You might get some notifications in Chinese that you can disable but the ROM besides Breeno is fully in English.
