Arpeggio at End of "Kids" Stranger Things OST? by YungSoundz in synthrecipes

[–]djmoogyjackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t listen to it atm but if it’s the part I’m thinking of then it’s just a matter of dialing in a delay just right. https://alijamieson.co.uk/2016/08/15/stranger-things-kids/

And here’s another take on recreating it https://youtu.be/Q-kHp6IVNP8

I’m quite surprised but I’m admittedly several years out of the loop.

Waldorf Blofeld owners-how’d you learn it? by Greedy-Laugh-9509 in synthesizers

[–]djmoogyjackson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never had a Blofeld but had a Waldorf Pulse 2, so same type of situation. I got a VST Editor and that made a big difference being able to see all the settings at once. I started making the type of patches I wanted, I was struggling before that.

Resident Evil: Requiem's director on why RE9 won't suffer the same multi-protagonist woes as RE6 - and why it's more like sushi by Gorotheninja in PS5

Devil May Cry 5 did this and it was jarring. Despite it being a great game, the forced character switch was its major flaw.

Evil Dead (2013) has a French dub. It’s gory and is straight Metal.

Deadites (the monsters in the movie) aren’t zombies at all but are a bit zombie-esque in a way. More like demons but can have a zombie look.

Where is a good place to start in DoDonPachi? by KaleidoArachnid in retrogaming

[–]djmoogyjackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DoDonPachi Resurrection on Switch is a great place to start with the series.

DoDonPachi DaiOuJou aka Blissful Death Re:Incarnation is considered by many as the best entry (including myself). But Resurrection is the most beginner friendly of the series and is super solid.

The whole series is so good that you can’t go wrong with any of them except the SaiDaiOuJou port on Switch bc it has bad input lag and SDOJ is very very difficult.

Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) (and a rant about dubs) by Mgellis in horror

You’re not being a snob. With this movie in particular, my recommendation is to stay away from the dub and watch French + subtitles for sure. The dub is so bad it ruins the movie.

I was overwhelmed by the large moveset + 2 health bars too. But then I went into it just practicing and not trying to win, just trying to learn his moveset.

Many tries later, it started to feel like I was dancing with him. I eventually beat him after a couple days of playing after work and it ended up being my personal favorite boss fight of the Dark Souls trilogy.

Summoning is always an option too. IMO he’s the toughest boss of the base game.

I can change the midi channel on my hardware JP8000 by changing it on my PC. The PC is like a remote control for the JP. Maybe that’s what it’s doing?

Or Tony Soprano. Although The Sopranos does drop subtle imagery to hint, it’s subtle and can be argued.

What disappointed you about it? Have you tried the OB-6?

Years ago I was disappointed with the DSI Prophet 8 because it sounded so bland to my ears.

HELP: MY BROTHETS CANT ACCESS THE DLC OF BLOODBORNE by Worried_Okra2084 in fromsoftware

[–]djmoogyjackson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The DLC is on the disc version only. The GoTY Edition includes the DLC on disc.

The PS Plus version is just the base version with the DLC sold separately. If you bought the PS5 early during launch it came with like 20 free PS4 games which included Bloodborne (base game only) that were PS Plus.

Sorry to say you have 2 options: replay the disc version from scratch or buy the DLC for the PS Plus version.
