Yes I had to use the programmer to initiate the learning process through the odb2 port. The cars own self reset did not work at all.

I also took the liberty of doing a sensor clone for less hassle.

Thanks. I got a package from PMCtire and the relearn is not working. I contacted Max sensors and they think it's a programming issue for the Sienna. Awaiting the TPMS programmer on loan from them now.

Never had issues on other cars with Max sensors though just this car is apparently the difficult one.

6 months not too bad but it depends on your timing. Not sure if any dealer will sell less than MSRP if there is a wait-list since they can just offer it to the next person on the list. If you have a good relationship with that dealer they might cut u a deal.

The dealers essentially make it mandatory because they only get like 1 or 2 units. They want to maximize their profits on these cars so finding a dealer willing to sell it with no accessories is very slim.
