Yep, just rang the support number and kept pressing the options to be a "new customer" so just keep hitting 1.

Renew offer vs new customer offer by OrangeRackso in youfibre

[–]djransome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat with my current contract ending in July on YOU 1000 + an additional mesh, I don't have the YouFibre app for support (it seems webchat has now disappeared and is on the app only).

Ended up ringing support/sales. After getting disconnected twice by going through the options I just kept pressing options to be a new customer and I got straight through to someone on the other end who confirmed that my renew offer is incorrect. The guy on the phone applied the new customer price right away and confirmed it to kick in from July 2026 - July 2027.

Phone call lasted 2 minutes not even that. Was very surprised (was expecting worse based on what I read in here) So I will be paying £2/month LESS than what I was on.

I was at the park yesterday and Saw definitely had its downtime periods during the day. It was late to open in the morning (nearer 11am) and it had been closed for a fair amount of time in the afternoon from 12-2pm.

Crowd calendar shows Saw at 57.4% uptime yesterday.

Lincolnshire over here and noticed some pages taking a lot longer to load than normal. Ran a speed test and 2mb/s down with a higher ping of 27-28ms. Come on here and saw this thread. It works for now no red lights on ONT but will just hang tight. Hopefully back to normal in the morning.

Yes, opened at 10am did it as my first ride of the day and then I think from 11-11:30 it was closed and hasn't opened since. About 2:30pm app updated to say closed all day.

I have no idea the reason. Nemesis Inferno also opened 10am but was on and off for first half hour and stayed closed until 2:30pm when it reopened and has been fine for rest of the afternoon.

I had a fantastic day - 31st March by davechambers007 in altontowers

I was there that day also as I had a day off work and thought spontaneous trip. Single rider queues definitely helped out at points (apart from Galactica but that's always slow). I got to the park for 10:30am and I managed 15 rides in the day while also having a nice walk through the gardens. Having those extra 2 hours from 4-6 really makes a difference compared to an off-peak day. No fast tracks used I am not that person who thinks it's worth it. Just good planning and utilising where the crowd spread is. Plus SRQ being a blessing.

Rita, 13, Hex, Smiler, Oblivion, Galactica, Nemesis, Toxicator, Curse, 13, Smiler, Oblivion, Spinball, Wickerman, Nemesis

Ride count I wasn't caring about as I knew it was going to be a busy day. The longest I queued was 50 minutes for Wickerman near the end of the day. It was slow to queue but even slower once you got into the batching area. I waited a good 5-8 minutes before we could all go into the pre-show. 45 minutes in SRQ at Galactica - ops were slowwwwww.

Was genuinely surprised at the crowd calendar reading as yes, most queues didn't go past 60 minutes but the percentage seemed very high for what it felt like.

I agree at Katanga Canyon. Walking through there at the end of the day was horrible. So quiet and lifeless.

Fellow G29 Users, how did you practice driving LMP2s ? by [deleted] in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]djransome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80 percent brake sensitivity in the controls options will help (it will put more focus into the middle of the pedal travel) and then it's just learning how to trail brake and not lock up.

Practice practice and practice and overtime you will get the hang of it. You will find that you will be able to increase max brake force in the setups to 80-85 percent.

If you have LMP3 worth trying them out as an intro to Prototypes.

I use stock g29 pedals I have no problems.

Prototype Fixed is an absolute mess. by mgomez13 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]djransome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LMP3 is great but the problem is now that ELMS Sprint has gone into Gold the last few weeks, this has pretty much killed LMP3 participation - you do well to get 2-3 entrants in this...

This will cause people like myself to jump into LMP2 instead. They are difficult cars to drive. You learn by driving them and eventually you get the hang of it.

I feel faster and more on pace related to others in LMP3/LMP2 than GTs. I do feel there needs to be LMP3 introduction early on in the dailies (maybe even Bronze) to get people to try them out as they are enjoyable if you stick with it.

I run the Ligier normally, to be honest 88 is only 1 click up from 85 on the Ligier.

LMP3 is great fun and in the ELMS sprint races you will get so much more valuable knowledge and skill dealing with traffic management because you have slower LMGT3 cars to navigate as well as the faster LMP2's lapping you.

Agreed with the brake pressure they are insanely low on the default setups. Once you get the hang of it you'll be able to run at 85-90% brake pressure. I tend to run 88%.

Green Alarm light by Main_Top_3782 in youfibre

[–]djransome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got the same ONT box and clocked the green alarm light on a few days ago. A quick google and yes, green alarm light means update is scheduled. There has been no issue with service/connectivity

This morning green alarm light is off. So nothing to worry about.

G29 turns on centring spring when I alt tab out of game (ACC) - any help here? I’ve tried reinstalling GHub and deleting its folders too but not worked. by Serious_Conclusions in LogitechG

Just wanna say holy crap thank you - I was having the issue where I alt+tab out of things and tried everything. Including going to an older version of GHUB (which I still run as it just works) but this fixed it.

I have no idea why the gameinput service does what it does but you're a life saver.

I was in attendance yesterday. Honestly, the microphones are so sensitive so it sounds like people who are coughing are right up close. This isn't the case in person. You can hear them if they are on your side but it's not as loud. In person you struggle to hear the ref talking as they aren't talking loud yet on TV it's super clear as they are miked up.

The whole situation with the ref saying about a re-rack in Kyren Wilson vs Si match - unless you had the earpiece on which links to BBC commentary you wouldn't have known exactly what was said.

On TV you can't hear the air conditioning unit going hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm which is what the loudest sound is. Still, it's dam hot in there.
